How tall are your children if you and your dh are tall?

Me and dh are both tall. I'm 5ft 9, dh is about 6ft 2. Currently pregnant with our first but both have children from previously relationships to relatively short people. My dd has managed to be the tallest in the class despite her dad being short. So I'm wondering if the mix of me and dh is going to produce something resembling a giant. Can I ask how tall are your children if you and your partner are tall?

I'm 5ft exactly, DH is 5ft 10. DS(14) is currently about 5ft 5 / 6. I can stand under his chin ☺️.

5ft 8, me. 6ft 2 him.

DD 15 is 5ft 9/10 haven't actually measured properly, size 9 feet. Not sure she's finished growing up.
DD 12 is 5ft 7, size 8 feet so far. Will probably overtake me by the end of the year.

I'm going to be the smallest.

My daughters dad is 6ft2 and I'm 5ft9 she is the tallest in nursery. She is 4 and already in 6-7 clothes lol.

I was born to tall parents (6ft1 dad and 5ft10 mum) and had to have my growth monitored for years. I am 6ft.

I married a slightly shorter man. Ds1 is 16 and he's 6ft2 already. We also have an 8 yo and he's tall for his age.

I'm 6', my husband is 6'3. 23yo son is 6'4 and 20yo daughter is 6'1

I'm 5'5" and partner was 6'1". DS is 6'8" with size 15 feet. I think they gave him growth hormone instead of a heel prick test when he was born.

DH and I are both tall - I’m 5ft 10, DH 6ft1.

My DD is smallish - one of the smallest in her class with little feet and hands. I think she takes after most of the females in both our families who are all sort of 5ft 5 and under (except me!).

My DS is pretty big - tall for his class despite being one of the youngest, with big hands and feet. He has all the signs of being tall when he is older.

Genes are such fascinating things!

It is fascinating. I always wondered how I ended up as the short arse of the family - my mum is 5'8, my dad is 6'1. My sister is 5'11 and my brother 6'5. I'm a measly 5'7
My own DC are slightly above average for height, the youngest the most so (6years and 128cm).

I’m 5’8, DH is 5’10 and DS is 13 and 5’10

I'm 5'5, DH is 6'5. Our DD1 is off the charts massive (regular sized newborn though) DD2 is 60th centile. I now have twins and one is massive and one is tiny (98th centile and 25th centile)

I'm 5'11 & DH is 6'4 so we are a very tall family. DS (13) is 5'8 and DD (9) is 4'11. They are both very skinny so are a nightmare to buy clothes for.

DS(18) is 6ft 7.
DD(11) is 4ft 11 so average height for her age I believe.

DHs parents were the other way round. Short Dad Tall Mum had two boys of 6ft 6 and 6ft 5.

My sister is 5'9", the same height as my daughter. My son, my brothers and my husband , all over 6'. I'm just under 5'4".

Early days as dds are only 10. I am short (5 3), dh is tall (6 4). Dd2 is average for her age. Dd1 is over 5 ft and has always been above 90th centile, usually above 95th

Both of my DDs have stoped growing - one is 6’1 the other is 5’6.

My dad is 6ft and my mum is 5' 11. I am 6ft 2 and my brother is 6ft 6

DD 8, 4’8”, size 4 feet

They both stand out in school/team photos

I'm 5' 8" and xh is 6' 1" and our 12 year old is already 5'9. He's going to be at least as tall as his dad, that much seems evident, he's ready overtaken me!

Yep there's a good chance you'll get a tall one! DH and I are the exact same heights as you and your DH. Our DD hit 5'10" before she was 13.

DS isn't as crazy tall at 10 but i reckon he's shaping up for a growth spurt!

I'm 5'10", DH is 6'1". DS 17 is 6'4" and still bloody growing! His feet are size 13.

I blame all the wholesome organic shit I fed him when he was a baby 🙄

DH and I are both 5’10.
My dad and brother both 6’3

DS (14) is 5’11 with size 11 feet. He’s a much bigger build than DH. I reckon he’s going to be big.
DH got all his old clothes and shoes!

DD (18) is 5’6. Sadly we will not be sharing clothes!
