Time travel is permissible here.
My choices are the Talking Heads doing Stop Making Sense, Elvis in his Vegas days, Michael Jackson (obviously before we knew he was a wrong' un so maybe the Thriller days), Johnny Cash in San Quentin, Beyonce doing Glastonbury. Possibly also the Rolling Stones in say 1972?

Freddie Mercury, and Queen with Freddie.

AgeLikeWine · 04/05/2020 19:07

Pink Floyd’s classic line-up of Roger, David, Rick & Nick. Well before my time, sadly.

WatcherintheRye · 04/05/2020 19:11

Another vote for Queen with Freddie. Wouldn't have minded being at Woodstock, either!

Jellykat · 04/05/2020 19:11

The Clash, and yes absolutely INXS and George Michael.
Oh add Led Zepp too

IHaveBrilloHair · 04/05/2020 19:12

Nirvana.

CatsMother66 · 04/05/2020 19:14

Allan Clarke with the Hollies, amazing voice.

BestIsWest · 04/05/2020 19:16

The Jam. They were always sold out. And then they split up.

Etinox · 04/05/2020 19:22

@AgentCooper Leonard was due to play in a small farm festival in Kent about five years ago. It was cancelled. I’d been a swithering about going but it clashed with a family event.

IAmNoAngel · 04/05/2020 19:22

Leonard Cohen

Nanalisa60 · 04/05/2020 19:24

Charley50 · 04/05/2020 19:27

George Michael
Amy Winehouse
Seen Prince but greedy me would liked to have seen him again.
I'm sure there's others.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 04/05/2020 19:31

Motley Crue. Ozzy Osborne at his absolute peak and not what I saw a couple of years ago. Guns N Roses in the late 80s.

TheNumberfaker · 04/05/2020 19:39

Booked tickets to take my mum to see Pavarotti but he cancelled due to ill health and died a few months/year or so later. I’ve taken her to see a few operas and it would have been the cultural highlight of her life. I’ve seen all the artists who have really meant something to me so feel very lucky, especially Prince.

AgentCooper · 04/05/2020 19:42

@Etinox oh that’s so sad. I think the last time he played Scotland (where I live) was 2011 but I was a student and too skint to go. How I wish I had, he’s my absolute favourite.

I saw George Michael on his last tour (2014?) and he was brilliant. Just lovely, such a fantastic singer. He had put on loads of free tickets for NHS staff too.

RusholmeRuffian · 04/05/2020 19:48

The Clash
The Smiths
Bruce Springsteen at Hammersmith Odeon in '75
