Time travel is permissible here.
My choices are the Talking Heads doing Stop Making Sense, Elvis in his Vegas days, Michael Jackson (obviously before we knew he was a wrong' un so maybe the Thriller days), Johnny Cash in San Quentin, Beyonce doing Glastonbury. Possibly also the Rolling Stones in say 1972?

George Michael definitely.

Adele - had tickets to her last Wembley show which she cancelled. Still hoping for priority ticket access if she ever tours again.

Was very fortunate to see Amy Winehouse before she hit the big time. Clapham Common, a summer festival in 2005, Jamiroquai were also playing.

Very fortunate to currently live abroad somewhere I can generally get hold of concert tickets and geographically easy to attend so have seen many huge artists over the last few years.

ThunderR0ad78 · 05/05/2020 00:36

Phil Lynott for me

ThunderR0ad78 · 05/05/2020 00:40

yousexybugger · 05/05/2020 00:41

Velvet Underground
Peter Tosh
Irma Thomas (I think she still performs but I'm not sure how regularly and usually in the Southern US states)
Canned Heat

WomanIsTaken · 05/05/2020 01:00

Yes, Thunder, I would have loved to see Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott. Aahh...
Now thinking of trying to see Paul Brady, but he seems to be staying put in NI / RoI for at least another year. And while in that part of the world, I would also have loved seeing John Martyn, Van Morrison around the early 70s, as well as a young Shane McGowan with The Pogues.
Ella Fitzgerald
Bob Marley
Pavarotti
Mercedes Sosa
I would love to see James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young.
And also, though hopefully I will have lots of time as he is so young, Jacob Collier.

WomanIsTaken · 05/05/2020 01:02

Led Zeppelin. (My parents wouldn’t let me go in my teens but I finally saw them at the O2 reunion concert. Up there with the top ten life experiences for me)

Dear God, am I jealous!

For me, it's Zep (clearly), Elvis Presley and Fleetwood Mac.

eggofmantumbi · 05/05/2020 01:38

happypotamus · 05/05/2020 08:01

Nirvana. But this topic comes up fairly regularly and there are several people who say they saw Nirvana live and were disappointed.

Frightened Rabbit. I only discovered them after Scott Hutchison died and I am would have loved to have seen them live.

RaraRachael · 05/05/2020 08:10

Queen. I could have gone to Live Aid but was too mean to pay £25 for a ticket.
I was the meanest person imaginable back in those days. Very strict upbringing where the most important thing was to have money in the bank, not spend it Confused

bloodyhellsbellsx · 05/05/2020 08:12

Oasis, hoping for a reunion 🤞🏻

ItsAllForYou · 05/05/2020 08:13
