Mine was a spur of the moment trip to Five Guys with DS8, not long before they announced it. I had a burger with everything, and fries.

DH and I had been talking about going out for a nice meal for ages and finally booked it... For the weekend right after lockdown started 😭

Afternoon tea with cocktails. It was amazing! I now think of it as the Last Good Day.

chocolicious · 30/04/2020 17:53

Lunch with friends.

iklboo · 30/04/2020 17:53

My dad's birthday at our local Italian restaurant with my parents, DH, DS, auntie, cousin and his wife.

WickedlyPetite · 30/04/2020 17:55

Local flame grilled steakhouse.

And it'll be the first place we go out to eat when we're out of lockdown.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 30/04/2020 17:55

Next time I hear rumours of a mysterious virus overseas, I'm going to book two solid weeks of meals out.

I can’t actually remember!

missyB1 · 30/04/2020 17:57

Literally a few days before lockdown we went out with another couple for an Indian. It was fantastic and we all got drunk!

Friolero · 30/04/2020 17:58

I had a pub lunch with my friend on Friday 13th.

ChiaraRimini · 30/04/2020 17:59

A lovely Sunday pub lunch for DS 18th birthday. Preceded by a night away with my new man who I haven't seen since . In retrospect it was a good send-off!

foxyknoxy30 · 30/04/2020 18:00

A lovely steak dinner at our local steakhouse 😂

ScabbyHorse · 30/04/2020 18:01

A nice French restaurant with boyfriend. Was worried about the cost but glad we did it now.

Very unusually, a lunch at a farm shop with my Mum, Dad, sister and my my young daughter. We never do that. It's a bit weird we did it then really...

BikeRunSki · 30/04/2020 18:02

Went to a cafe for sort of elevenses with my friends after a walk on the morning of the Monday that lockdown was announced in the evening. I had carrot cake and a mug of tea, they both had toasties.

Enko · 30/04/2020 18:03

Lunch with dd2 at a local cafe I had salad she had frittata

I think of my birthday on the 7th as the last posh meal me and 9 friends it was great even if home cooked

Pipandmum · 30/04/2020 18:03

Probably a lunch at our local Italian. It's doing takeaways now so we ordered a meal for my birthday - not quite the same but pretty good.

Grumpbum123 · 30/04/2020 18:03

L’osteria for giant pizzas and cocktails

BlueChangling · 30/04/2020 18:07

Valentines night dinner in a beautiful restaurant that we swore we would go back to. It's sadly now gone bust.

AuntieMarys · 30/04/2020 18:08

Turkish, the night before .
I do miss eating out.

Timeforatincture · 30/04/2020 18:08

The Michelin starred Sorrel in Dorking on the day we were due to be flying to New Zealand, as a consolation prize.

It was bloody fantastic but we were still sad that we couldn't go to New Zealand though. And then the shit really hit the fan....

Great restaurant though. We'll be going back - if it survives.

liquoriceallsortfamily · 30/04/2020 18:09

An early Mother's Day lunch with my mum because I couldn't see her on the day. It was a the local Greene King pub and it was lovely. It meant the world to all of us and was especially glad I'd made the effort when things shut down a few days later Smile

adag · 30/04/2020 18:09

Took dd to 400 rabbits for sourdough pizza in case we had to cancel her bday party the following week - we did 😢

PatriciaHolm · 30/04/2020 18:10

At Tate Britain before a evening viewing on the Friday before lockdown. Was very quiet the in the restaurant, though the bar was heaving!

hellsbellsmelons · 30/04/2020 18:11
