Mine was a spur of the moment trip to Five Guys with DS8, not long before they announced it. I had a burger with everything, and fries.

DH and I had been talking about going out for a nice meal for ages and finally booked it... For the weekend right after lockdown started 😭

Breakfast at Wetherspoon's in Burnham-on-Sea, after a night of wild partying.

I miss the sheer glamour of the pre lockdown days Grin

Cafe Rouge. I had a meal to celebrate my birthday (it was late because I didn't get paid until after my birthday).

a local tacqueria which I'd spent months waiting for them to open... they've just launched a delivery take away service which on first night seemed to be doing very well so am hoping they'll survive as they're amazing

Sunday lunch at a lovely pub with a dozen friends plus dd and dh. It was an excellent last hurrah Grin

Five guys is the one thing I'm really craving right no, not helped by the fact I should have been going to America tomorrow and my dreams of all the American food I was going to eat have been shattered Grin
The week before lockdown I went to an amazing local Italian with my friends on the Friday night and an equally amazing Turkish restaurant with DP on the Saturday. It was our first time visiting the Turkish restaurant it absolutely blew me away so I'm hoping they survive the next few months as I think it will become a firm regular for us.

A pub meal after a long day at work and could not be bothered to cook.I was shattered so ordered a full roast purely because I knew it would be served fast. It was really good. They make amazing gravy.

Ruralbliss · 30/04/2020 19:52

My new boyfriend and I took ourselves to Portmeirion for a deluxe weekend away sans children and enjoyed a fine dining four course meal overlooking the sea ahead of a night of passion. He wore a suit and I in my best frock & heels. It feels like a wonderful dream now.... no idea when I'll get to see him again.

Tapas with loads of Sangria and a big group of friends. It was a spur of the moment thing. So glad we did it now.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 30/04/2020 19:54

@getyoursocksoffhoney ahh, we were meant to be going to California for a five week holiday of a lifetime in July, so I feel your pain.

My biggest Five Guys regret is that I only got a small burger, and decided against a milkshake.

Birthday dinner at Fish! in Borough Market - champagne and Oysters to start, delicious Sea Bass and then Affocato to finish.

Can't wait to go out for dinner again!

I met an ex-colleague after work about a week before lockdown. I had chicken in a basket with fries and garlic mayo Grin

I think that day I’d also had a meeting in which I’d said I was on holiday the first two weeks of May (when a project was meant to be delivered) and could the other people around the table manage the comms during that period. That’s if coronavirus doesn’t stop my holiday hahaha.

Now the project is postponed. The holiday is cancelled. Hilarious, CakeAndGin, you’re absolutely hilarious Hmm

Lunch at a local pub with a lovely friend who’s also a MN. That was the Monday before lockdown. That weekend we had a lovely family meal with DH’s family for MIL’s 85th birthday and the next day Sunday lunch at a country house hotel with my dad, stepmother, brother and his family.

80sMum · 30/04/2020 20:01

It was a cheap-as-chips meal in the Hungry Horse with a crowd of friends, in the last week of February.

BeatrixPottersAlterEgo · 30/04/2020 20:02

Katsu curry at Wagamamas with my best friends. I miss them.

blue25 · 30/04/2020 20:03

Rosa’s Thai

nearlynermal · 30/04/2020 20:05

It was a Monday, and I went out with an ex friend with benefits (he was one of the best ever) to a place that does incredible aged T-bone, triple cooked chips and homemade béarnaise. I had the large glass of wine. Halfway through the meal the waiter said they'd been told they were shutting the next day, full reservation book for Mother's Day cancelled.

2beautifulbabs · 30/04/2020 20:08

Taco bells

Floralnomad · 30/04/2020 20:10

I think it was a Nando’s at Bluewater with my daughter .

Naithnira · 30/04/2020 20:11

I don’t remember. I have DC and no money for babysitters. Truthfully my life hasn’t changed much - I was already trapped at home.

AvoidingTheWineAisle · 30/04/2020 20:14

Took my kids to Nando’s.

Wish I’d had something more elaborate and indulgent! Grin.

rhowton · 30/04/2020 20:15

Husband and I went to our favourite steak restaurant the day before lockdown! Can't wait to go back.
