Mine was a spur of the moment trip to Five Guys with DS8, not long before they announced it. I had a burger with everything, and fries.

DH and I had been talking about going out for a nice meal for ages and finally booked it... For the weekend right after lockdown started 😭

A boozy pub lunch with some friends!

Very jealous of yours though OP - can’t wait for a Five Guys when all of this is over Grin

A weekend brunch with my parents, sister, BIL and 2 nephews, for my birthday. Ages ago now - it was the first week of January!

Dinner out with the kids and friends at a local Italian that opened recently. We shared starters which were delicious. I had chicken with dauphinoise potatoes and then ice cream. The kids has chocolate pizzas for pudding and got so messy! It was all lovely, the kids played and chatted nicely, the Prosecco was cold, we walked home together afterwards. By the next weekend everything was closing and then lockdown got announced the following Monday, so it seems like a whole different lifetime!

A pret sandwich, with DS1. We did pretty muchh the same thing every Sunday.

I had a few days of decadence! On the Thursday me and two friends walked around out local reservoir and then stopped and sat outside in the sun and all had Yorkshire pudding wraps, roast potatoes and roasted vegs 😍. Then on the Saturday I went out with H and the kids to a lovely pub and I had the most delicious tomato and red pepper soup with homemade bread and President butter and homemade chips.
On the Sunday we went for a Thai meal at the last minute and I had pad Thai and spring rolls.

Seemed a waste of money at the time but I'm so glad we spent it now.

Feb 28th at a fairly blah local cafe / pizzeria where I hair a fairly blah pizza and a brownie for dessert. God, the things I dream about eating at restaurants now.

Spur of the moment meal at a local independent place with a group of friends. So glad we did it, it was lovely.

Miller + Carter
We had never been + heard some terrible things but decided to risk it. The risk paid off, was delightful Grin

Chiquitos with my best friend about a week before the lockdown started. I remember joking at the time that we better enjoy it as it might be our last chance for a while, then the next day me and DD started coughing and had to self isolate.

Misspretty · 30/04/2020 18:52

A luxury afternoon tea.

TeenTraumaTrials · 30/04/2020 18:56

Wagamama on Thurs before lockdown. It was a spur of the moment thing and very glad we did. Very bored of my cooking (and lunches) after all this time with only 2 takeaways.

Redshoeblueshoe · 30/04/2020 18:57

I'm here to lower the tone. McDonald's Shock

Pizza Hut buffet with fussy friends 2 weekends before lockdown 🙈

Pinkstars2501 · 30/04/2020 19:04

Premier inn breakfast in a pub.
We had an event booked and the organisers couldn't make up their minds if it was going ahead, but we had already booked the hotel. At the time it hadn't yet become a pandemic, it was right back when it was only just making the news.

The event was cancelled roughly one hour after we checked in.

Pinkstars2501 · 30/04/2020 19:06

Now I think back it was actually March...Friday the 13th 🙄

HerRoyalNotness · 30/04/2020 19:08

It was probably the day before, we went to our Asia Town and had Malaysian. There were only a couple of tables occupied and it was very subdued. We ate roti with a chicken curry dip, shrimp, a beef dish and the kids had chicken satay.

Crunchymum · 30/04/2020 19:11

Dishoom, with friends. Will be the first thing I do when this is all over as well.

ednatheevilwitch · 30/04/2020 19:15

Wagamama with boyfriend before seeing swan lake at the theatre. Our last night out and seems like a terrifying prospect now!

QuimJongUn · 30/04/2020 19:20

It wasn't a meal as such, but is still fondly remember it as the last time we ate out. Me and DH went to the theatre two Saturdays before lockdown and afterwards went to our favourite cocktail place. We ate a fuckton of olives and bread and cheeses and little cakey things while we drank into the evening. It was perfect.

cacaca · 30/04/2020 19:22

Miller and Carter 😋😋

JemilyJ · 30/04/2020 19:35

Pub. It was lovely but I had a silent, ragey moment because I’d spent the day craving a particular drink and my friend had got there early and got me something else which she wanted me to pay her for despite me asking her before not to do that...

TheStarryNight · 30/04/2020 19:39

Pizza Express in late February. DH has a day off during the week and we went shopping and had a pizza. N’duja, calabrese and mixed peppers then fresh mint tea. American hot then carrot cake for him.

Seems like another life now.
