Today's special is eggs.

Boiled, fried, poached, coddled, convent, I might even do scotch eggs.

Tea and coffee as always and toast of course.

I'm trying a range of fruit and herbal teas, some are fruit infusions some are actual tea leaves with fruit added.

And to go with it toast and preserves.

Ah I have a memory of my mother going tot he next door neighbour to try the home brew. There was a grass incline between our houses, mum had to crawl up it.

After reading the 'I'm Jewish AMA' thread I was going to serve bagels, but then it's Shabatt so it seems inapropriate. But I think I'll stay to the east of the med so very strong coffee, olives, tomatoes,cheeses and a variety of breads.

OK all serious question, as this thread approaches 1000 messages, should I close the cafe when the thread is full?

How do you feel about it Sashh?

I am fairly new so i dont really know how threads work, me personally i would miss this thread. But you must do what is right for you, is it taking up too much of your time?

It takes very little time, I am happy to keep it going, but threads end at 1000 messages so if I'm stopping it's a natural time to end. I like the idea of somewhere people can gather during lockdown, I like to hear about dogs, cats, babies and hangovers.

I think you should keep it going then. I found this thread so helpful, that in lockdown I could virtually get away to a cafe. I also love hearing about peoples day.

I am sure there are alot of lurkers that its helping too, (they might be to shy to join) reading about normal everyday things is quite soothing.
I love how the cafe has been designed for humans and furry things.
