...because I didn't close it over the weekend.

Today's special is eggs.

Boiled, fried, poached, coddled, convent, I might even do scotch eggs.

Tea and coffee as always and toast of course.

Wow you have kept this place clean and tidy.

I read the thread on schools in the 1970s so I tought we would go retro for breakfast.

Check out the 'breakfast sets' with little bowls and curved knives for graperuit, stainless steel toast rack and 'preserves' dish.

I have the brown sugar to sprinkle and grill on the grape fruit, abviously Florence has made black forest gataux.

Grapefruit squirted in my eyes would be an improvement on my vision atm! My hay fever is raging and i never get it this bad.

70s breakfast were the worst, I'm sure. I don't believe nayone actually likes grapefruit, and that powder that was suposed to make orange juice !

And yet some great puddings, Lemon Merangue (Florence can check the spelling) pie was my favorite.

I remember going out as a kid to my first 'posh restaurant'. Starter was a choice of a glass of orange juice, melon boat or consommé.

I liked angel delight though.
