The cafe is still open...

...because I didn't close it over the weekend.

Today's special is eggs.

Boiled, fried, poached, coddled, convent, I might even do scotch eggs.

Tea and coffee as always and toast of course.

Does anyone fancy lunch?

I know I'm normally only open on a morning but here's the lunch menu.

Amuse bouche of apricot stuffed with brie, wrapped in bacon, for any veggies I can wrap it in buttered leek.

Chicken and pork terrine or garlic mushrooms

Orange Haddock or orange rice ball

Chicken in red wine or aubergine casserole, roast crushed potatoes and a bundle of veg.

Selection of cheese

Lemon cheesecake served with cream.

Oh my goodness! A virtual cafe?! I’m sad as the door is locked with a ‘closed’ sign. I can see some scrumptious cakes through the window, I’ll pop back tomorrow morning!

Hello, I've been absent the last few mornings as I've been off work and it's been blissful eating real life cakes and drinking tea. Back tomorrow though.
I'll just heat up some of that chicken and veg in the microwave, thanks so much!
