I am now, thanks for the heads up. They do exercises in the North Sea at times.

Meant to say, it's a refueling tanker so there are probably other military planes out there on exercise with it but FR24 doesn't tend to show those.

When I was looking at FR last night, flights over everywhere but the US were few and far between, while in the US it seemed to be business as usual. Do they not have travel restrictions? If not, no wonder the virus is spreading like mad over there.

I have been too busy with actual work to look at Flight Radar for a while so haven't participated in this chat before. The skies are a lot quieter alright!

But can I ask the experts, why are most planes yellow but some are blue? I don't remember seeing blue ones before...

Blue is I think where a satellite is tracking the plane rather than air traffic control centres.

I live right by Gatwick and it's so eerily quiet.

I was looking on flight radar to see if there was much air traffic about and saw this drone. Never seen one before on flight radar.

There has been a massive amount of helicopters- Aberdeen airport yesterday looked like flies swarming something. Wonder what they are all doing?!
