Two very contented souls there, OVienna

I should learn to be more dog. Or cat.

7Worfs · 27/01/2020 13:16

What breed is this lovely pupper? Looks a bit like an Irish wolfhound to me?

Also that ginger is a big boy!

BabySharksMummyShark · 27/01/2020 13:43

Oooo this is where you all are 👋** i saw the title and thought why is it familiar opened it and found you!

I was a lurker on the h and m threads as i couldnt keep up long enough to post! I was sad when i realised people had left.

So for all those threads despite not saying anything i felt like i got to know you all. I know weirdo alert........(goes back under her rock)

BabySharksMummyShark · 27/01/2020 13:44

Oops bold fail 🤦‍♀️

OVienna · 27/01/2020 13:47

The cat is actually small. He does look a bit fluffed up there.
Big Boy is a Griffon Nivernais. Ex-hunter of boars, emigre from Spain.

7Worfs · 27/01/2020 13:47

Lol, glad you found us.
It’s comfy here.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 27/01/2020 13:48

This is a lovely calm place of cats, dogs, cheese and whatever else takes your fancy. Make yourself at home.

A title fit for a canine king Crown Smile

TheMustressMhor · 27/01/2020 13:58

Yes, we welcome all who come in peace.

Which is everyone, so far.

Tell us more about your experiences with cheese, BabyShark.

Émigré of Spain

Sounds like a rich diplomatist-type, out to meet and marry the Infanta.

OVienna · 27/01/2020 14:06

Does anyone on this thread have a candidate for the infanta role? I am cultivating a relationship with an English Bulldog charity in the meantime which might get us somewhere. I think he thinks he's a cat now tho.

TheMustressMhor · 27/01/2020 14:27

Has the Infanta candidate got to be a dog?

I'm so impressed with the canine population of MN. They are so refined.

And the knowledgeability of their owners. When asked what sort of dog they have, they say something I have never heard of, and then hoards of posters post random facts about the breed. Never does anyone answer "I dunno,...brown?"

BabySharksMummyShark · 27/01/2020 14:41

Thank you for the welcome! I promise i come in peace 😊

I dont have a cat or a dog though i have a two year old who has cat tendencies?

Im a bit new to the world of cheese, never really liked it, husband has corrupted me. Im simple i like simple cheese 😁 (mild cheddar, mozzarella, halloumi)

OVienna · 27/01/2020 14:44

Mhor - I think so. Yeah. Cat is king and we can't have more trays.

TheMustressMhor · 27/01/2020 14:45

I'm a bit new to the world of cheese

Grin

I can think of nowhere where that sentence would be comprehensible.

Or even necessary.

Step away from the car wreck. Nothing to see here.

TheMustressMhor · 27/01/2020 14:47

Sorry - I didn't mean to post that last message.

I was thinking of something and typing it, preparatory to proof-reading.

Then the cat sent it.

That's twice now, that McVicar has sent emails.

Hmm

Come in, my dear.....

7Worfs · 27/01/2020 15:06

I imagine the fleas home as a 4-floor cheese emporium 🧀

BabySharksMummyShark · 27/01/2020 15:44

😁

yolofish · 27/01/2020 15:56

It's bloody raining again here. This is very annoying as I was supposed to be painting shed doors. We have no Christmas cheese left, but still a bowlful of Christmas choc. I'm not really bothered about choc, which is why there's a bowlful of it. The Christmas booze is long gone, except a bottle of limoncello which I bought to make cocktails with (prosecco, limoncello, drops of lemon juice, curl of lemon zest and a sprig of rosemary) but havent got round to it yet.

I'm ok, not thriving but surving. Is everyone else ok?

yolofish · 27/01/2020 15:57

Oh FFS, surviving not surving. Not surfing either!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 27/01/2020 16:00

Ooh that cocktail sounds lovely yolo! How much prosecco to limoncello?

yolofish · 27/01/2020 16:03

fleas per glass it is 1 tbsp limoncello, 2 drops lemon juice, 1 icecube. Stir with a twig of rosemary, allow to infuse for 10 mins, top up with prosecco. I'm thinking of leaving the rosemary out but that's because I'm very conservative (small C) about herbs in drinks!
