If you're 5ft 3/5ft 4 and weight less than 8 stone what do you eat in a day?

I'm 5'3" and around 8 stone 7 and I feel like I look quite chubby still. I have a small frame so I feel like I need to lose a stone or so.

What do you eat in a typical day if you are around my height but weigh less than 8 stone?

I wouldn't lose a whole stone OP, I'm 5'3 and usually weigh 8 stone exactly and I'm pretty slim.

When I was breastfeeding and DS wasn't eating many solids yet I probably weighed about 7 and a half stone and I looked gray and felt exhausted (he had suspected food allergies so I felt like I had to carry on until he was eating more/better)

Losing a stone would make you almost underweight. I really can’t imagine that you’re ‘chubby’ at 8 and a half stone. Do you exercise? Would toning exercises be more beneficial for the look you’re after?

Whats your bmi op? Because i am 5'2 and have been drastically underweight my entire life. The last 2 months ive been eating a higher fat diet to gain weight and am now 8 stone and bmi 20 which puts me at healthy and i too have a very slight frame. Im looking to gain 5lbs or 6lbs more so i cant imagine you are chubby in any way. Just be careful as i was always convinced i was fat and i have a big round moon face that always looks fat when actually i was pretty badly underweight most my life.

My tummy looks massive; someone put a photo of me on FB tonight and I definitely don't look slim. I exercise 4 or more times per week.

Agree with @dinosn0re - if you feel you aren’t looking as trim as you want to be, it maybe that you need to tone your muscles. Body pump, pilates/yoga, body weight resistance moves will all work

What people eat and what they weigh depends on so many variables it’s a slightly pointless question tbh.

A postie who walks miles everyday will be able to eat more than a person who sits in an office, and that’s before you look at people’s own metabolism, portion sizes etc etc

@ivfbabymomma1 how on earth are you fitting into a size 10? I weigh 10 stone at that height and I’m a 12. OP I think you may have a warped perception of chubby.

Are you basing this off one photograph? Because we dont look perfect in every photo. Every one has photos where they look awful and feel shit.

I'm not sure that's healthy.
I'm just in range but need to lose about a stone for mid range and I'm 4ft.11 and weigh about 8st 10

I’m 5ft 4 and 8 1/2 stone I’m a size 8 and an definitely not chubby I still have boobs and hips but most people tell me I’m tiny. My BMI is about 20 that’s perfect wouldn’t want to be any less.

I am 5'4" weigh just over 7 stone. I'm vegetarian.

Breakfast is tea and toast or granola,

lunch I'll have fried eggs, beans and toast or half a pizza or roasted tomatoes and chickpeas with French bread and cream cheese or a cheese sandwich etc.

For dinner, I always cook vegan as my OH is vegan and it's easier than making multiple dinners. Tacos, curry, chilli, Buddha bowls, goulash, burritos basically lots of plant based yumminess.

We never eat dessert unless it's a special get together really. I don't drink alcohol but I have lots of sugar in my tea.

I generally don't tend to snack, we never have biscuits or crisps in the house. I'm not into sweets or chocolate, but I can eat an entire cake in an afternoon, cake is my passion.

suitpea whats a buddha bowl? I want to start a vegitarian diet which will be hard as dp is a proper meat obsessive.

Buddha bowl is lots of small portions of food, kinda like a salad but with whole grains and pulses and some salady bits. Had one a few nights ago with quinoa, chickpeas, sweet potato, kale, pomegranate and a tahini mustard dressing.

I am still BF my 18 month old and am convinced my weight is so low because I'm still feeding her, hoping to put on some weight once she weans.

5.4 here and around 7.10-8

No breakfast ever, I'm 36 and just never ever been a breakfast person so about 3 cups of coffee

Lunch usually soup or leftovers warmed up from last night tea

Tea chilli, curry, rice/Buddha bowl, stir fry's, noodles etc

However I'm a gluten free mainly vegan (very odd bit of cheese if I make a pizza)

I honestly look so chubby that I look as though I've stood there and someone has hammered me down; my thighs look massive and I seem to just have too much tummy.

My sister is 5 ft 6, seven stones, and eats between 2,000 -3,000 calories per day. Maintenance via a lot of daily activity. With your height it should be around the 1800-2000 mark with enough daily exercise.

I’m around that height and weigh 9 stone and still look very slim. The least I ever weighed was 6.5 but I was eating plenty just exercising loads as I was a teenager who swam every night of the week (competitive swimmer). I actually hated looking like a stick and have always been glad of the extra weight I gained once I stopped. It doesn’t sound to me like you need to loose weight at all. If you feel chubby you probably just want to tone up.

Stress hormones can causes fat distribution around the middle and on the thighs. You see a lot of this in people who work in high stress environments e.g. emergency services, nhs etc

It doesnt matter what anyone else does. You are you and have to figure out what works for you.
