I need help. The last few weeks I have developed an obsession with gay men. I have absolutely no idea why, other than my hormones are all over the place (perimenopausal). I am spending a ridiculous amount of time watching gay porn and thinking about men having sex. I have never watched porn of any type before. I have now developed a massive crush on an ex gay porn star, to the extent I have spent all day looking at his Facebook and Instagram pages etc. I am contemplating messaging him. Ffs what is wrong with me?

I don't know about ex gay porn stars but some gay men are beautiful and it's easy to be attracted to them. I had a couple of gay male friends, obviously strictly platonic but it didn't stop me having a few fantasies about one of them, not that he ever knew.

I was once totally obsessed with Robert Pattinson, especially as a vampire. I didn’t tell anyone or do anything, thankfully! The obsession passed and I feel a bit ridiculous now. My advice: go with it, indulge yourself but don’t do anything more than that.

Not sure it's a sex topic, more mental health. I get obsessed with other stuff as well but I suppose it is mainly focussed on men. From the age of 10 of so, I started daydreaming and haven't stopped since. From Donny Osmond, Tom Selleck, teachers, my boss, to this latest one. I suppose if I spend all my time thinking about them and our imaginary life, I don't have to confront my actual real life. It's been really intense the last few months, I am practically in a fantasy most of the day and long to go to bed so I can drift off. I am having very frequent periods, horrendous spots, palpitations etc so I am sure some of it is triggered by hormones. I suffer from social anxiety and depression but not in my daydreams....God I sound screwed up😩😰. Oh what's the point..
