A continuation of the discussion regarding the MOD news and ethics surrounding Instagram “influencers”.

Lady of Wrestling; it’s that he doesn’t have any stories on at the moment.

GorgeousLadyofWrestling · 16/11/2019 16:32

Oh right - I thought it read like he’d put one up that was cringe or something.

Sharonthetotallyinsane · 16/11/2019 16:38

This morning an ‘instamum’ called Meetthewildes put on her grid her opinion on Mod and shared an email address urging others to also report Mod with a view to having her struck off. She’s since turned off and removed comments as I think things were getting a bit hairy.

He did but they only stay up for 24 hours

GorgeousLadyofWrestling · 16/11/2019 16:56

Ahhh right - I didn’t read the time of those posts duh I’m running on fumes afte a bad night sigh DC. Not normally this dense!

dottydolly72 · 16/11/2019 20:43

fod has posted about his best friend.. the dog. 💁‍♀️

Honestly, at this point it’s blatantly obvious that the lesser known Instamums are using Clemmiegate to boost their own egos/profiles and bring the Head Girl down a peg or two.

I am not condoning what Clemmie said, but campaigning to get her hauled in front of the NMC is ridiculous.

Good Lord, abso-fucking-lutely. One made me laugh out loud today. She was in Himalayas for a trek so missed it all and started today with a post in which shared some of her very pedestrian word art (available to purchase obv) and then went on about MOD. She got one line from MOD on Tattle.

Felt like replying:

You’re late to the party. Had you been here last week you could have got at least a couple of thousand of new followers out of this when MOD was being roasted alive and plenty were feeding on the carcass. Now it’s just cold buffet only and at a push you’ll get a hundred. Hard life that.

Pomegranatepompom · 16/11/2019 21:29

I don’t follow any of the insta mums etc but I think she should be reported to the NMC. She has not adhered to the code of conduct and has compromised her position as a midwife and her profession could be seen in a more negative light because of her actions.

MondeoFan · 16/11/2019 21:37

FOD still trying to carry on like nothing has happened.

LetThemEatDrama · 16/11/2019 21:49

And FOD in his wisdom has shown the twins school uniform on his latest story, no badge to be fair but considering loads of people were not only finding their address after they moved but even the estate agent listing so they could (virtually) look round the whole house it's not private eye stuff to work out the school. At a time when there's so much furore surrounding them! There just seems no limit to how much they'll use the kids to sell!!! (I know it's not an ad post but it's obvious he's trying to get back to the 'normal life' asap so he can get the next ad in, it's on it's way).

I can't imagine sharing my young children's safety with any of a million people to make a few quid/get instafame.

rockingchaircandle · 16/11/2019 22:54

@TooSpotty

Same here! I got banned from Tattle last week for 'spam'.

I politely challenged something on racism and the person responding agreed with me.

Two posts and was banned. Emailed to ask and nothing.

I did wonder if it was an error but no, it's seems it's a pattern.

So much for free speech after all!

dottydolly72 · 17/11/2019 06:22

@LetThemEatDrama can't see a post showing the twins uniform and as far as I know they are still at pre-school with no uniform. You'd have to be pretty f*ked up to track down their home / see inside their house 💁‍♀️

catinb0oots · 17/11/2019 06:31

He's changed the picture to cover up her nursery jumper.

And yeah there are some pretty fucked up people in the world! With a million followers do you really think they are all pleasant people with good intentions?

Madhatterhouse · 17/11/2019 06:41

So he’s now hiding the twins’ faces but not one of the older girls? Weird - they’re all kids.

Tooearlyforcrackers · 17/11/2019 07:19

I saw the picture of the twins in uniform and it’s now gone. There was a comment on here and on tattle about it. To say fod didn’t know about what Alice was posting seems far fetched. He’s obviously reading along as well.

Sharonthetotallyinsane · 17/11/2019 07:20

Can’t believe In no particular order charges £15 for a print on a hand drawn heart. (She’s the one who got back from the Himalayan trek.)

LetThemEatDrama · 17/11/2019 07:29

Definitely think FOD reads along enjoying thinking of himself as the "twat" everyone loves.

@dottydolly72 - with well over 1.5 million followers between them there's bound to be some really unsavoury people in there just on strength of numbers but the fans would worry me far more if I was them than the trolls/bullies/haters. The fans were the ones online tracking down their house etc and 99% are likely normal people but I'd be up every night worrying about the one superfan who now knows where my kids are on a weekday.

dottydolly72 · 17/11/2019 07:39

She also has a jewellery deal and sausage dog.. bizarrely!

dottydolly72 · 17/11/2019 07:45

@LetThemEatDrama your right that's disturbing. Funny enough as soon as the pics of the new location came out I knew where they where because I live there! I didn't look up their house but it was widely known amongst us at football club, one particular woman claiming to know the price and deals etc .. snobby cow from the private school. Anyway, if you put yourself and family into the public domain sadly the weirdo folk flock.

Itsashame · 17/11/2019 10:11

Of course people are interested in their house etc. People want to know how much they make from all this selling, someone on this thread even posted how much they declared on their company accounts! It’s not all weirdos that search for info that’s in the public domain. But yes there could be lots of dangerous weirdos also. I could never look people in the face again if I was one of these people and literally everyone in the world could look up pics of my bedroom, me in my underwear, my kids in their cots. It’s freaky and weird that they expose so much of their and their kids lives. The kids could well be fucked up as a result. Especially with this latest drama which will never be removed from the internet

Doubleraspberry · 17/11/2019 10:45

It’s not just them, is it? You can say this about loads of them. Total disregard for their own privacy and, way more important, that of their kids. To make what really can’t be enough money to compensate for it all. There aren’t enough overpriced freebies in the world to make it worthwhile to me.

Doubleraspberry · 17/11/2019 10:50

I also want to add that I know one of the instamums and I know that what she puts out there on Instagram is very far from reality a lot of the time. I also don’t want or need most of the crap she’s out there showing off. And even knowing all that, I can feel envious looking at her account. Somehow she presses buttons I wish I didn’t have!

BanKittenHeels · 17/11/2019 12:38

The disregard so many people have for the safety of their children online (not just influencers) is astonishing.

OP posts:
Itsashame · 17/11/2019 13:13

Completely agree op. I really don’t want to imagine how easily it would be to find these kids in real life as we know such a lot about them. And how they will feel about their permanent internet presence when they are adults. I really feel it’s scandalous
