Is there already a thread about the instamum dramas involving MoD today?

I don't understand why they are not calling her out? It's total cloak and daggers. They must need for engagement and to stay in the circle I guess. What other reason is there for not calling her out? Do they want to remain 'friends'?

I hope something comes of this but I doubt it will. It's a dangerous world with people like her having huge amounts of power to influence others.

What a weird world we exist in!

It’s not very nice, but it doesn’t particularly mean she’s a bad midwife because of it

No it doesn't. But it does mean that she's not a particularly stable or nice individual and that would bother me if I was in her care iykwim? I'm a bit 'woo' about stuff like that. #yesiknowi'maloser Grin

Mind you, in the throws of labour I wouldn't have given a shit if Satan himself had dragged that baby out ...

From purely PR point of view it's a tough one. At the moment the ones calling her out are the smaller fish or the instapond. Their combined following will be a fraction of FOD/MOD combined power. In essence it's contained in the lower circles of that particular amphitheater where MOD/FOD have the royal box.

The others with over 100k followers who were also allegedly slagged off are staying shtum for a reason. An ugly fight like that is not brand/merch friendly. The whole sisterhood/women supporting women narrative is very lucrative. If they appear to take part in sniping and calling out it will damage their brand as much as it would MOD's brand, if that makes sense.

The larger ones have image to maintain too, especially those with larger initiatives in the media. When you start calling out, you could be accused of inviting witch hunts. You may get some unsavoury comments on your own page. It's pain in the arse to manage and contain.

Basically the turd is sitting on the table but note that the big players are not touching it because if they do, they may get covered in it. And that's too big a risk to take given the stakes they are playing out.

wattytanker · 07/11/2019 11:25

*of not or

*Stakes they are playing at

AppleHEAD · 07/11/2019 11:38

@wattytanker You’re absolutely right.

I just noticed MOD is on Sali Hughes insta. She really had no shame.

lostlondoner · 07/11/2019 11:39

@wattytanker jeez who would even want that life?! I mean it's mind boggling. But at the same time they are acting like 10 year olds in a playground. If I ever feel envy over the insta life I will remind myself of this drama!
It's made my morning more interesting that's for sure. What an eye opener. And what the f are we setting our kids up for. Just wow. Speechless.

If AliceinWonderlust is in fact MOD one of the most shocking things would be that after interviewing Candice Brathwaite for her blog "Alice" posted the following comment on tattle.life

posted Feb 2019:
Candice is often really aggressive and always brings it back to race, priveldge [sic] and class because she knows no one will argue with that. It feels like a weapon to silence people’s opinions.

She's posted a comment about it on her story now.

alwaysthinkingofsleep · 07/11/2019 13:52

Hmmm that ain't really an apology 😬

Stopyourhavering64 · 07/11/2019 13:55

Once again a rather passive aggressive response from MOD on her insta 🙄

HowlsMovingBungalow · 07/11/2019 13:55

What an absolute shit show.

I wonder how many more 'insta mums' are on Tattle bitching about their influencer mates.

I feel for their children, it is a fucking circus - selling your/their lives for what?

FFSnotanotherone · 07/11/2019 13:56

Lol so basically, 'i pretended to be a bitch so people didn't guess it was really me'

BanKittenHeels · 07/11/2019 14:02

That’s not an apology.

I’d love to know how and why she initially admitted it to her circle of friends.

Mumof3dragons · 07/11/2019 14:11

LOL what a facepalm moment. Besides which, how the fuck does she have time to create a fake persona to defend herself...ridiculous.

I think she's actually going to have a nervous breakdown.

Thank fuck I'm anonymous. I don't have £££ tiles in a dark green (?) bathroom or weird trendy #gifted prints, or a shiny new kitchen when the other one was perfectly adequate, don't get free holidays or clothes or cereal...but I have my privacy, sanity, zero anxiety and emotionally stable kids. Real friends.

Talk about Pandoras box.

mustangsly · 07/11/2019 14:12

I'd also love to know what 'proof' has been discovered that has forced her hand.

wattytanker · 07/11/2019 14:16

This is episode of Black Mirror live

MarshaBradyo · 07/11/2019 14:17

I was just thinking that. That social media episode where they all rate each other - it’s what it’s like if Instagram is how you make your ££.

No wonder people take to a Tattle outlet.

mustangsly · 07/11/2019 14:19

I am just loving that Tattle, which is pretty much universally hated by the instahuns, has been the absolute undoing of their queen bee and exposed what a shallow, bitchy little bubble they all exist in. It's exquisite irony.

OopsUditAgain · 07/11/2019 14:19

The apology falls apart anyway when you consider she joined Tattle initially to slag off Cash Carraway, not to defend herself. Even now she isn't being truthful. What a mess.
