Love a porcini mushroom! Mine is being away with the family and enjoying the great outdoors, no rushing around and lots of fun.

ShirleyPhallus · 27/10/2019 19:19

I’m pregnant for the first time and felt the baby kick for the first time this weekend. Magical!!

MrsL2016 · 27/10/2019 19:19

Meeting for lunch with a friend I haven't seen in a few months. She is such a happy positive person who never has a bad word to say about anyone. I feel so much lighter after being in her company.

Learning how to sign 'fuck off cunt'

nicannie · 27/10/2019 19:20

We had our 20w scan this week, plus my birthday, plus this a previous poster, I felt baby kicking for the first time! It's been a good week!!

Getting out of the house to the coast after being stuck in due to rain and sick children for ages. Such a sunny, bright day. We went to a beach we don't usually venture too. Last time DS1 (now 9) was a toddler. Home now and shattered, not looking forward to the return of the school run tomorrow morning!

caringiscreepy · 27/10/2019 19:22

Got my hair done and finally feeling a bit more like myself after surgery

JulietTango · 27/10/2019 19:23

The doctor at the hospital telling us he's going to carry on treating my dad rather than withdrawing treatment because he's not making any improvement

TheoriginalLEM · 27/10/2019 19:24

Walking the dogs along the beach, chilly but sunny.

Finding, and chatting to an old schoolfriend on Facebook, who I have had no contact with for 36 years.

sanityisamyth · 27/10/2019 19:24

My car passing her MOT with no extra work needed. Totally gobsmacked!

MsMustDoBetter · 27/10/2019 19:25

Friends. I have the best friends a person could hope for.

CakeNinja · 27/10/2019 19:26

Spending some time as a family of 5! Dp has been busy working for months at the weekends, only on home renovations but it’s meant we’ve barely spent any time together.
He worked this morning then we got out for a walk to enjoy the sunshine then went to the pub for drinks and snacks before coming home to a fire and roast.
It’s the simple things Wine

nicannie · 27/10/2019 19:27

@Livingthedream12345 sorry to hear you've had a shocker of a week. Suppose we all get them right, hope you have a much better one next week!!

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 27/10/2019 19:27

The roast dinner I just cooked. Slow roast lamb shoulder, Yorkshire, cauliflower cheese, potatoes, parsnips, roast carrots, stuffing and gravy.

DemonWOOOOsse · 27/10/2019 19:27

Mine was moving the TV out of the 'spare' bedroom in to the room I (somewhat pretentiously) call the study (but is more of a laundry/dumping ground).
I was able to iron while watching Come Dine With Me Smile

lucysmam · 27/10/2019 19:29

Day out today at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Halloween event & tea out. Dd2's scary wolf face made me laugh (she made a wolf ears mask) but tea was disappointing :(

ShirleyPhallus · 27/10/2019 19:29

Ah @nicannie congrats to you, feels lovely doesn’t it 🥰

Sirzy · 27/10/2019 19:30

Watching how well Ds (9) and my DP of two years get on together when we were out.

nicannie · 27/10/2019 19:31

@ShirleyPhallus and congrats to you too! This is our first baby as well, feels amazing. Took me a few days to decide if it was wind or baby moving 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

AnnaNimmity · 27/10/2019 19:34

oh I had a lovely weekend - mostly involving walking the dogs in lovely places in the sunshine and talking to really nice people (dog walking is so sociable!). My dogs have been very cute too!

My elder dds have been a delight - so funny and interesting

Laughing with friends over whatsapp. Multiple episodes of Succession.

I've baked and shopped and read. Clean house and I've felt so happy to be here.

Also got back to running after injury. Id forgotten how happy it makes me.

So I didn't do much, but feel very uplifted.

And I'm working from home tomorrow! So an easy way into the week....

Livingthedream12345 · 27/10/2019 19:35

Thanks @nicannie, I've got a few tough weeks ahead. Be glad when it's over!

Extra hour in bed and snuggling up to watch love actually - such a feel good movie
