How many seats do you have in your living room?

I have a 3 seat corner sofa and a 2 seat

So 5 people can comfortably sit here.

Just wondered what the average is as mine seems small.

Three-seater sofa and a chair. The bigger issue is that there's usually a dog taking up at least two seats

A generous 2 seater (or one teenager) and a very generous 3 seater (or one teenager and an uncomfortable adult).

Not enough! Stupidly bought 2 x 2 seater sofas online, didn't measure, they are tiny! Also have an armchair. 2 adults, 3 children. Technically we all gave a seat but it feels squashed! Got my eye on a 4 seater &3 seater, but dh has said not until the cats die as they have ripped these ones to shreds!

Family of 9, huge sofa (seats 6, 7 at a push) a large 1.5 chair( seats 2 when needed) an arm chair, a footstool which doubles up as a seat and 3 large floor cushions and 3 folding chairs for when needed

Two pouffes as well, forgot about them.

We have 2 x 3 seater sofas, one toddler arm chair and kids dining table and chairs for when we have play dates.

In the kitchen there is a large three seater, plus two arm chairs which we can bring in to the living room if needed so 11 adults & 3 children. Plus beanbags available if necessary.

I have Corner sofa which can seat 4 people

A bean bag
If needed I can bring 2 dining chairs in the room
Altogether 14 people

2x2 seat sofas and a bench thing

Two 3 seaters and a 2 seater at the moment but usually a single armchair rather than the 2 seater. We’d comfortably fit 3 3 seaters if we wanted as it’s a large room.

(I could fit another 30 if they were perched on arms/sitting on floors😂)

4 on the sofa and technically, 2 on the double van passenger seat which is apparently being sold (since May ) and will be gone before Christmas yeah right

Actually though, we tend to congregate in the kitchen which has plenty of seating both comfy and at the kitchen table.

A 5 seater corner sofa and a two seater sofa

A large 5 seater corner sofa. Although now our children are getting bigger we are considering getting a bigger sofa, or 2 sofas. We also have a large ottoman that gets used as a seat. Yesterday we had 20+ people over and managed to seat them all somehow on a mix of sofa, ottoman, dining chairs and camping chairs 😂

Living here is Dh, me and 3 dcs.

A 3 seater sofa, though it's a big one and can easily fit 4 on, more of small people! Then a snuggle armchair which fits 2.
We also have a large Fatboy beanbag which will seat someone else, sometimes a second.

So officially 4/5, unofficially 6-8

I have a three seater and and a two seater sofa and a smallish arm chair but when my book group of nine came I got in another three (padded) dining chairs and accommodated everyone comfortably.

A 3 seater sofa (but it really most comfortably seats 2) and an armchair.

8 but theres 6 of us.

Sofa that seats 3 at a pinch, 3 arm chairs. A bench that we use as a footstool unless we have guests, also seats 3. Our 6 person dining table is in there too. So I guess we could seat 15 if I needed to.

We have a 4 seater sofa thing and a matching 2 seater with a stool. Tbh we bought it for our last house and it's a bit too big for the new one.

We have a smallish corner sofa that would seat 3 maybe 4 at a push and a large swivel/cuddle chair that would seat 2. There are only 3 of us but when we have friends over we can fit about 7 seated... anyone else is on the floor! Oh and 4 cats who always manage to find a comfy seat whether it be sofa, chair or lap

Our living room is very small (10.5ft x 9ft+1.5ft alcove). We have a corner suite that seats 5 people and one edge is the length of the smaller wall and slots into the alcove. The tv is in the opposite corner and a small table next to the short edge of the settee.
