What shop would you love a trolley dash around?

So as much stuff for free that you can get in your trolley in 5 minutes say. What would you buy?
I have just been browsing John Lewis so that would be a good shout. So much lovely stuff. I would head for The Home section-bedding/kitchen etc.
But equally I would love Home Bargains/B&M/Dunelm.

I guess JL would be best, I was going to say Waitrose!

Sparklingbrook · 23/10/2019 08:48

I wouldn’t know where to head first in Waitrose. Grin

I think I'd do Sainsburys because I really rate their home wares and clothing lines for basics.

Sparklingbrook · 23/10/2019 08:54

I went to a huge Sainsbury’s and spent so long looking at all the non food stuff it was ages until I started on my food list.

I really like Tiger but they don’t design their shops to get a trolley around. Plus I could guarantee my trolley would have nothing of any practical use in at the end. Hmm

Ratbagratty · 23/10/2019 08:59

A craft warehouse!

Sparklingbrook · 23/10/2019 09:00

Oh yes Lakeland-that would be good.

There wouldn’t be much of a ‘dash’ involved in a jewellers. You would get a lot in your trolley though.

B&m Blush

WomensRightsAreContraversial · 23/10/2019 09:04

Portmerion! I don't know if they have a 'real' shop but their factory seconds are amazing, I'd do a (careful!!!) Trolley dash around there any day!

OytheBumbler · 23/10/2019 09:06

JL is too big if you only have 5 minutes. You'd never get around the whole store in time.

It's a good question though.

jay55 · 23/10/2019 09:07

Fortnum and mason, though the nice carpet might slow down the trolley.

Sparklingbrook · 23/10/2019 09:08

That’s true Oy you could only really pick one department or floor. No time for the lift. Grin

Costco and I'd grab one of their big flat trolleys and head for the electrical and household sections.

labazsisgoingmad · 23/10/2019 09:16

lexiepuppy · 23/10/2019 09:24

whitebowls · 23/10/2019 09:28

Anthropology for me, please.

sewinginscotland · 23/10/2019 09:28

Amazon? I feel like I could fill an awesome basket in 5 minutes especially if I set up a wish list in advance.

UpToonGirl · 23/10/2019 09:35

Haha, I remember having this conversation with myself back in the days of supermarket sweep!

Same as pp - Costco so many christmas items I want!

walkintheparc · 23/10/2019 09:47

Dior...

walkintheparc · 23/10/2019 09:48

The person that said Poundland... really???

You can do that right now if you want, you'd probably only spend £50 Grin

QuestionableMouse · 23/10/2019 09:52

Boots! I'd get so much good shampoo and skincare.
M&S food Hall. Allllll the baked goods.
Rideaway. I'm in dire need of new boots and a coat and new tack/rugs/equipment for my nephew's pony (who doesn't actually exist right now because we're still looking)
