What shop would you love a trolley dash around?

So as much stuff for free that you can get in your trolley in 5 minutes say. What would you buy?
I have just been browsing John Lewis so that would be a good shout. So much lovely stuff. I would head for The Home section-bedding/kitchen etc.
But equally I would love Home Bargains/B&M/Dunelm.

There’s no Costco here. We have JTF Bargains but that’s a very depressing place.

Costco here too!

chillychicken · 23/10/2019 09:59

Waitrose and I'd not move from the wine aisle for the whole 5 mins Grin

caperplips · 23/10/2019 10:00

Liberty - perfume and jewellery departments! I would fill that trolley to the BRIM in seconds Grin

EmmiJay · 23/10/2019 10:00

Purely for the season thats coming, but I'd have so much fun in the Christmas department at Libertys. Grin

LaurieFairyCake · 23/10/2019 10:05

Selfridges ground floor

If I only had 5 minutes probably M&S food because I know the layout and products. We don’t have a Waitrose so I would panic and end up grabbing stuff that nobody would eat.

If mitt going for food I would maybe go for Harvey Nichols make up department.

Hush.

Letsnotusemyname · 23/10/2019 10:28

A bank - with all the doors open.

Sagradafamiliar · 23/10/2019 10:30

Booths! Especially at this time of year.

formerbabe · 23/10/2019 10:30

M&S would be a practical choice.

Get loads of food then clothes for kids, uniform, underwear and nightwear for me, work shirts for oh and homewares

Sparklingbrook · 23/10/2019 10:45

The bank one is unlikely-they tend not to keep the doors open.

I was a bank cashier in a previous life and when we got held up they just stuffed it in a bag, I think a shopping trolley would have been too cumbersome. Plus loading it from trolley to car would have taken too long...

Hermes or Chanel.

Second to that Boots or M&S Food

DragonontheWagon · 23/10/2019 10:54

I've just thought of another, Boots, JL or Debs beauty counters. I'd fill my trolley with as much premium skincare and makeup as I could fit in 😂

FlaviaAlbia · 23/10/2019 10:57

Stuff the kids and the house, I'd go for a yarn shop. The type that sells fancy hand dyed yarn and single breed skeins as well as the basics like needles.

In 5 mins you could clear the shop and have thousands of pounds worth of wool in your trolley Grin You couldn't do that in a bigger shop where you have to rush though departments.

We need a greedy emoticon for that Blush

afrikat · 23/10/2019 11:17

White Company. All the bedding, candles, cashmere, baby stuff

walkintheparc · 23/10/2019 11:24

@caperplips oh goodness a trolley full of La Labo and Byredo is an absolute dream.

BlastEndedSkrewt · 23/10/2019 11:25

Costco

ParkheadParadise · 23/10/2019 11:36

Boots beauty counter.
M&S food hall
Symths toy store ( I've got 7 great-nieces and nephews to buy Christmas for)

Enko · 23/10/2019 12:13

Hooper's starting in handbags then through to kitchen shop and if I have any time left perfume and cosmetics

FrenchFancie · 23/10/2019 12:26

John Lewis, boots or Waterstones.

Or the apple store!! Provided I had an assistant so I could say ‘one of those one of those and one of those’ and let them do the dashing!

caperplips · 23/10/2019 12:37

walkintheparc Le Labo would actually be my first stop, I would even forego getting my name on the label in the interest of maximising my time to grab a LOAD of Annoushka jewellery Wink

paap1975 · 23/10/2019 12:38

Lakeland for me!

FinallyHere · 23/10/2019 13:03

Five minutes? I'd go for Waitrose and stay in the wine and spirits department. Load up the trolly, no chance if anything g going off before you consume it. 😀 I would notice the savings when shopping for weeks.

Half an hour? Probably stay in Waitrose, wine and spirits department. Use the savings for anything g else I fancied.
