What shop would you love a trolley dash around?

So as much stuff for free that you can get in your trolley in 5 minutes say. What would you buy?
I have just been browsing John Lewis so that would be a good shout. So much lovely stuff. I would head for The Home section-bedding/kitchen etc.
But equally I would love Home Bargains/B&M/Dunelm.

Any of the local garden centres for me, they have food, drink, clothes, interior stuff, outdoor things and of course plants best of all worlds.

AgeLikeWine · 23/10/2019 13:07

Harrods watch department. I could grab a haul worth millions in 5 minutes, then sell them & retire.

NetballHoop · 23/10/2019 13:11

Mappin & Webb on Regents Street.

butmumineedit · 23/10/2019 13:15

Laura Ashley in the home section, especially their bedding and throws , am sure I could squeeze a sofa in the trolley as well .

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 23/10/2019 13:17

John Lewis if practical.
Lego store if frivolous.

cauliflowersqueeze · 23/10/2019 13:22

Perfume Shop.

I reckon I could make a good attempt at getting them all.

InsertFunnyUsername · 23/10/2019 13:26

Can I lower the time to 3 minutes but make sure every cabinet is open and I dont have to piss about with keys? If so il go for a jewellery shop in London, Not sure which one yet il let you know.

If not then good ol JD sports Smile

Drogosnextwife · 23/10/2019 13:26

Probably Debenham or John Lewis so I can get clothes, perfume, make up, homeware and shoes, but, I don't want to dash, I want to take my time and have no one else in the shop. I also want 5, maybe 6 people following me with more trollies.
Sorry OP, I know that's not the game but if we are dreaming, I'm dreaming big.

Legomadx2 · 23/10/2019 13:31

Trilogy

or maybe Currys PC World

or Waitrose for the food and booze

CigarsofthePharoahs · 23/10/2019 13:33

Lakeland for sure.
PC world!

bluechameleon · 23/10/2019 13:35

I love John Lewis but it might be a bit big. Ours has women's clothes close to kitchen so I think I'd stick to those two departments. But if it could be a warehouse dash I'd pick Babi Pur - I could get so many beautiful wooden toys and children's clothes.

Sparklingbrook · 23/10/2019 18:29

I still feel I am missing out not having a Costco. We have a card for Bookers but that's really dull.

The white company. I put a whole bedding set in my online basket today to see what it came to (sheet, duvet cover, pillow cases and bedspread) and it came to £800... I think I could fit a fair few bedding sets in a trolley!

DrMaryMalone · 23/10/2019 18:49

Probably this place for clothes, home stuff and food/drink:

www.houseofbruar.com/

NoWordForFluffy · 23/10/2019 18:53

Definitely Booths here too. Bakery, cheese and booze sections!

Or the baking tins at Lakeland!

PlasticPatty · 23/10/2019 18:56

Somewhere that sells beautiful diamonds. Just. As many beautiful pieces of diamond jewellery that I could get in my trolley in five minutes. But they'd have to put them all out on display in advance of my trolley dash. None of this hiding them in a safe.

purplepalace · 23/10/2019 18:59

White stuff or Zara

ClientListQueen · 23/10/2019 19:03

Selfridges beauty department. Makeup, skincare, body stuff, perfume

AgathaF · 23/10/2019 19:04

Yes to a pp who suggested The White Company. Small stores - 5 mins would be ample time.

JL is too big. Five mins on the wouldn't go far in there, although I would spend it in the kitchen/dining section. Also yes to Waitrose. Lovely wines, nice homewares and food. Lakeland is a goer too.

Would also like 5 mins in a decent outdoor/country store. I think that would be my top choice.

AwdBovril · 23/10/2019 19:04

Definitely somewhere that sells diamonds. The really expensive ones. I'd only want a couple.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 23/10/2019 19:06

Liberty.

SeaViewBliss · 23/10/2019 19:07

Waterstones

HavelockVetinari · 23/10/2019 19:08

John Lewis, home department. Or Waitrose (tbh I'd stay in the booze aisle!) Grin

CuteOrangeElephant · 23/10/2019 19:10

John Lewis but only one where the kitchen department is close to the kids, craft and electronic department Grin.

I need some more Le Creuset in my life.

scrivette · 23/10/2019 19:11

The White Company or Smythson.
In Smythson I could clear the shelves in 5 minutes and have enough stationery and handbags for life. Would still have to buy a diary each year though.
