What's happening in your house today

I'm on the couch MNetting with a cuppa. DD and DH are still snoozing. Cats are pottering around.

We're moving house next week so we're spending the afternoon packing urgh. This morning we'll go for a walk in the forest and then home for breakfast of bacon and eggs. Dinner will be pork belly done in the air fryer and fried mozzarella sticks.

Feeding baby then hopefully back to sleep for an hour or so. Then just slobbing out on the sofa until this afternoon when I pick DP up from work and we go to his parents

My parents and brother are coming over this morning and we’re going to go out for brunch. Then dd is at her dad’s tonight and I’m going to do laundry. Terribly exciting.

Been up since 6.30 with the DC. DS1 is watching Arthur Christmas Hmm and DS2 is pottering. I’m lay on the recliner with a splitting headache and chronic tiredness.

DH is having his lie in (we alternate)

We are going to a christening later which I bought some new shoes for specifically to go with the dress I want to wear but they are sandals and it’s going to chuck it down all day so I may have to rethink.

DD8 is at her first sleepover until 10am and will be absolutely shattered no doubt. We all had a busy day yesterday with clubs and parties so today we're doing very little. Films, board games, some colouring etc. I'm cooking a cosy casserole. It's going to rain later, another reason to stay indoors.

Taking DD swimming then a nice pub sunday roast. Hopefully a quiet afternoon on the sofa (I'm ever the optimist!

Horse riding lesson for Dd, then stagecoach group straight after.

Two tyres have nails in so I have to go to kwikfit.

We are also decorating the hall and landing

I'm having a day out with my eldest DD - she's recently had her 4th baby, and she's having a bit of a struggle so her DH is having the DC and she's having a day with her Mum. We're going round the shops and having lunch. I can't wait, I can't remember the last time we did this.

Thinking about food now... I quite fancy chicken Kiev for lunch. With a slice of bread under each in the oven to make garlic bread. And beans. Mmmmmm.

Homework needs to be fine at some point today and the reading diaries. I'll put some laundry away too as it's hanging about

Need to pop to Asda/Tesco/Home Bargins to get a couple of bits for my son as he's off on a residential tomorrow for most of the week,but that's it.

Husband is taking kids out this morning so I am lounging in bed. Will go make a coffee and read for a bit. Then I will iron uniforms (and watch Netflix while I do it). We are going to do a bit of gardening if the weather stays nice (doubtful) then going swimming. Dinner is spaghetti. Watch bake off with elder kid. Bed.

We've snuck elder dd downstairs 10 mins ago in an aim of getting younger ds to sleep longer as he is under the weather.

We are currently watching Bake Off quietly with cuppa and croissants.

Dh is having his lie in as he was out last night, so what we do later entirely depends on ds and dh. Probably out for a late Sunday lunch and a play in the park.

We aren't used to lazy weekends, we like long days out, but that's not happening for us this Sunday.

Everyone is still in bed so I'm having a quiet cuppa with the cat, it's bliss. I may burst into life shortly and do some gardening.

Eldest DS is on a date this afternoon, so we're dropping him off - he's not finalised exact plans yet Hmm

Roast chicken dinner later, can't wait especially as all my laundry is up to date.

I'm laying in bed now while DH watches tv with DD and then we're off to a garden centre to buy me a flamingo tree. Wanted it for ages but can't get DD and tree in my car so calling on DH to come too. He can also have a bacon roll at garden centre as a treat

I'm sitting on the sofa with a hangover, bagel and cup of tea.

DP and the DC still in bed.

Friends have just cancelled meeting up today so will take DS to his friends for the afternoon and rope DS2 into having a massive clearout and re-arrangement of the playroom.

Taking DD1 to netball tournament as the leagues are being sorted today for U16s. Cinema this afternoon - For Sama - what looks like an amazing but harrowing film about Syria.

DD (2) is still asleep, I’m sitting in bed with a coffee. DH is pottering downstairs. Will get up in a bit & snuggle up with DD reading some books, then we will take the dog for a walk in the woods & pop to the garden centre before it rains.

Will probably watch a film or something together later, maybe do some painting with DD with some leaves & stuff from our walk. Roast chicken for dinner.

Get bits ready for work & DDs preschool morning tomorrow.

Not a lot at the mo.

Dh is away on a boozy weekend in Spain so I'm flying solo with four dc.

We've decided not to do rugby as it's torrential rain, we were going to go mass but no one can be bothered. After a ridiculously busy day yesterday I think we just need to chill this morning.

We are going to my mums for Sunday lunch later which I'm really looking forward to as I won't have to cook it myself!

I’m still in bed MNing, DH is dozing, and DD is playing quietly next to our bed (not often she does this first thing, she’s normally jumping on us to get up from 6:30!)

Need to clean the floors and do some laundry when I get up, DH is going to cut the grass, then he’s going out for most of the day for his hobby. Me and DD will be visiting family then after an easy lunch I’ll take DD to the park. Going to make some soup for work lunches and something nice for dinner. I normally like a roast on a Sunday but tend not to bother if DH isn’t there to do it or keep DD occupied. It’s DH’s turn for bedtime tonight (DD hates sleep, it takes a while). I’ll sort clothes and bags for tomorrow then I’m sitting with my feet up and a cuppa.

Sundays are pretty chilled in our house.

I'm having a bath while DH and DD are downstairs, I'm pregnant and full of cold so hoping I feel better after my bath! We are in the middle of having a new kitchen so my washing machine isn't plumbed in so taking some washing to my brother's house. Cats are watching me in the bath as they do. I also now want a flamingo tree!

Netball for DD1 then swimming for both DDs while I do a quick gym session.

We're making dumplings for dinner so part of the afternoon will be spent on filling them. Probably a film as well. And I have blackberry gin to make.

Birthday parties and a trip to London yesterday so nice and quiet today
