I'm on the couch MNetting with a cuppa. DD and DH are still snoozing. Cats are pottering around.

We're moving house next week so we're spending the afternoon packing urgh. This morning we'll go for a walk in the forest and then home for breakfast of bacon and eggs. Dinner will be pork belly done in the air fryer and fried mozzarella sticks.

I’m out on a whole day long yoga workshop, I’m deliriously happy!
So I don’t know what’s happening here, for once it’s no my business.
Oh god, feels great!

Moneymanifestor · 22/09/2019 08:07

Wow that tree is fab!

Sitting drinking tea whilst the baby has a little kick around before her milk and nap. As soon as she is down I'll get ready and start packing as we're off on hols later. My brain feels fried the amount of stuff we need for a 7 month old.. thank god we have a massive car!

HappyParent2000 · 22/09/2019 08:08

I’m up early watching rugby with a cuppa, partner is sleeping in and 4yo is playing in his room.

Later off out for breakfast then I’m watching any sport I can on catch up TV.

I’ve worked hard all week so have a day off parenting and work today.

QueenMabby · 22/09/2019 08:10

I’m still in bed. DH is downstairs making me a coffee and DCs are on their screens (allowed from 8am at the weekends). Lazy morning. Hockey training for one DC later if it’s not chucking it down but no other plans. Roast Gammon for dinner later.

dementedma · 22/09/2019 08:11

Taking dd2 out for breakfast for her birthday treat. Then a swim for me, hopefully 50 lengths today. Followed by birthday cake and fizz for lunch. No idea what happens after that...

lakeloveragain · 22/09/2019 08:12

I am having a lazy day at home. Been a long and tiring week so a pj and movie say is in order.

gemdrop84 · 22/09/2019 08:12

It's a bit of a lazy day for us today. We spent most of yesterday on the beach so we were all tired, went to bed early. Dc only woke up about half an hour ago. They're eating breakfast and playing on their games. I've brought my coffee up to bed and reading my book in peace. Nearly ready for some toast!! Dh is snoring next to me! I'll crack on with the washing, food shopping and then off to see my friend for a cuppa and a catch up later. But of crochet and boxset watching tonight as Dh is out.

TipseyTorvey · 22/09/2019 08:13

Currently sitting on the sofa with DS1 watching barbie for some reason. Rest of house still asleep so I'm nursing my second cuppa and mumsnetting and redditting alternatively. The DC have swimming mid morning and need to go to decathlon for new sports stuff them lasagne for Sunday lunch I think. Lots of laundry to do and I want to put the garden away as in the swing, hammock, loungers and soft cushions as I think summer has finally said farewell and if I don't do it today they'll get wrecked with mould.

I'm also browsing amazon for Xmas gift ideas for the DC as I know my incredibly organised and generous in laws will ask what the DC want soon and I am trying to have a sensible approach to the type of things they get this year.

SherbetSaucer · 22/09/2019 08:15

We will probably go out for brunch and then DH and I will have a lazy day in our PJs watching movies and eating yummy snacks.

KatherineJaneway · 22/09/2019 08:16

Cats have been active since 6am 🙄 so I've been up for a bit. Will go to the gym in about an hour and when I get home I'll do some cleaning and getting ready for the coming week. Dinner is homemade curry.

Alsonification · 22/09/2019 08:18

It’s absolutely bucketing down here so will have a lazy day on the sofa either reading or catching up on Netflix. Im currently having my weetabix & a cuppa & then going back to bed. Kids are still asleep. Dd is going back to college today so will drop her to the station 5 mins away & ds is going to his mates to watch football so he’ll be gone for the afternoon as well. I’ll have a lovely quiet house to myself.
Ds will be having take away in his mates so only myself to sort dinner for. Probably some quick pasta dish.

Bunnylady53 · 22/09/2019 08:19

Ooh blackberry gin sounds lovely! Still in bed. DD is on her tablet. Asda shop later then after lunch, we’re meeting up with DD’s half brother at a local play place. Sausages, sweet potato wedges & baked beans for tea yummy 😋. Need to book DD’s school lunches online, sort uniform etc. I’m missing Poldark on Sunday evenings. DH & I may watch a film.

NeverTwerkNaked · 22/09/2019 08:21

Son and his friends are eating breakfast after a sleepover. Then they have a football match. After that lunch with my brother and his family and then we are going to a museum that relates to the topic DS is studying at school as they have live reenactments today. Not normally this busy on a Sunday! and somehow I need to squeeze in a few hours of work and sorting out DDs bedroom which is a tip.

Whoseagooddoggiethen · 22/09/2019 08:22

Kids going to their dad from 11 so im heading to the gym, walking the dogs, doing a top up shop, cleaning downstairs and possibly hoovering upstairs at a push then when they get home it will be dinner, showers and a movie on the couch till bedtime and im planning an early night myself!

startingtoday · 22/09/2019 08:22

Up early as had DGS2 overnight. We are watching Duggie then going to jump in Granada to get him up! Then friends coming for brunch. Looking forward to a nice day Smile

legoqueen · 22/09/2019 08:24

Up early to do a few hours work before the house wakes up, just skyped my Dad in New Zealand. Weather is set to turn today after a glorious day yesterday. DH (self employed) will probably do some work today, I need to pack for a work trip next week, change the bedding, & make a shepherds pie for this evening. DS usually has a football match on Sundays but it's been called off - he has homework to do then will probably go to the gym &/or see his mates. So a quiet, low-key Sunday, which suits me fine Smile

NeverTwerkNaked · 22/09/2019 08:26

Although having read through the rest of the thread now I might have to cancel all our plans and to and buy a flamingo tree Grin it looks wonderful

Veronicat · 22/09/2019 08:28

I'm going to tackle the washing mountain today and take our new rescue dog to the beach later. Hes never been to one.

imnotinthemood · 22/09/2019 08:28

Heavy rain here this morning after such lovely weather yesterday Sad. I'm hopeful it eases off as planned to go running this morning. Later ironing , tidy bedrooms and relax with a glass of wine . Dinner is lamb then get ds in the bath and watch a bit of tv before early night ready for another busy week .

elloelloello · 22/09/2019 08:29

Hangovers all round

My daughter’s 18th birthday party last night so have a houseful of passed out teenagers

Just about to tackle cleaning it all up

BeBesideTheSea · 22/09/2019 08:31

Waved DH off on his overseas work trip. DS has got a lift to rugby training in half an hour. I will then join them in the clubhouse at 11 for the England match.

Need to fit in homework and music practice.

Fish pie (DS) and quiche (me) for tea.

EmrysAtticus · 22/09/2019 08:32

Playing train track with DS right now. Then church and then this afternoon DH is taking DS to softplay so I can rest as I have a cold so will watch Endeavour and do some of my cross stitch :)

Verily1 · 22/09/2019 08:36

I can hear eldest clanging his cereal bowl. He’ll stay hunched over his laptop all day unless I bribe him off it.

DM has offered to go round to hers but don’t know if I can be bothered.

DP and youngest still sleeping.

Might have restful duvet day with tv/films etc.

But also fancy some fresh air...

LBOCS2 · 22/09/2019 08:37

The DC got up about an hour ago, came and claimed electronic devices and have now gone back to bed. I'm still in bed playing on my phone and considering going in search of coffee, DH is dozing next to me.

I have the ingredients for an epic breakfast in the house so we'll have that in a little bit. Need to clear out the car, but don't have many other plans. Quiet one here I think.
