What’s your favourite sandwich?

I’ve just had my favourite for lunch. A nice soft white bread roll with Red Leicester cheese, coleslaw and crinkle cut ready salted crisps. It’s my very favourite.

I like cheese and celery. Or chicken and while grain mustard

Goats cheese with char grilled vegetables. Peppers a must and asparagus if in season.

For me chicken bacon and avocado

Crusty roll with corned beef salad cream and cucumber 😋

Classic Montreal smoked meat on rye, whole grain mustard, two slices of sour pickle

Tuna mayo & black pepper with sweet corn and a little red onion
Don't care what bread.
Or Tesco's BTL !!

Prawn or ham and butter.

This might break the rules but I've just had a Lidl Croque Monsieur.
Lovely!

I prefer a hot sandwich like a mozzarella, basil and tomato panini or a cheese and ham toastie.
If I was going for a cold sandwich then I quite like chicken and stuffing on brown bread

Prawn, egg, thinly sliced onion and mayonnaise. Yum.

Really strong cheddar with either onion slices or Branston pickle. Must have lots of real salted butter too and be on soft white bread. I don't eat it very often but when I do, heaven!

Thin layer of marmite, thick layer of hummus, ready salted crisps. 😋

Now I'm hungry.

Chicken & mango chutney is my fave.

I like it simple. A nice egg mayonnaise on wholemeal or granary bread.

I also love tuna with onions, salad and roast peppers.

Currently into one of my childhood favourites, egg mayonnaise and cress. Sometimes with added cheese. Very nice!

Tuna mayo. Always. Ideally on fresh wholemeal or seeded bread, generously buttered. Can add any one of the following: fresh dill, sweet corn, cucumber, currants. Yum.

I like the little roll from Pret with the ham, cornichon and butter. I don’t eat much butter otherwise, and would never add a cornichon to anything other than tartare sauce, but that sandwich just has something about it.
