I'm ill and I'm in the mood for a bad but enjoyable film. I'd appreciate any suggestions. TIA

Love Actually

Another vote here for Galaxy Quest.
Also Congo - the one with Tim Curry as the bad guy and the signing gorilla, Amy.

FermatsTheorem · 16/07/2019 12:06

I still don't think Galaxy Quest (which I love - Rickman in particular is wonderful) should be on this list, because it's not a genuine "so bad it's good" film, it's a parody of a "so bad it's good" film.

By Grabthar's hammer, you shall be avenged!

Ooh Deuce Bigelow Male Gigolo and the amazing European Gigolo sequel.

Towerofjoyless · 16/07/2019 21:26

Only You, starring Robert Downey Jnr and Marisa Tomei. Her character believes she is destined to marry some guy she's never met before and when she finds out he us heading to Italy, she jumps on a plane with her ballsy best friend (the best friends are always ballsy in these films, aren't they?) to Venice to track him down. Loved seeing the sights of Venice, Rome and Sorrento in this film!

CompletelyRenounceSpandex · 16/07/2019 21:39

Another vote for grease 2. Who cant love a film with the lyrical genius of
'Who's that guy on that motorcycle?
What would they say if they knew it was michael?"
Classic.......😁

Another vote for Con Air. "Don't touch the bunny" Grin
I don't think anyone has mentioned Wild Things yet?
Also, Netflix currently has the film version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat - it is the campest thing I have ever seen in my life.

Chappie. A truly awful film about a gangster robot.

I love bad celebrity biopics. My favourite one is the Will and Kate film. It's so SO bad but I love it!
