If I may add my own suggestion to my own thread, Far and Away with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman used to be my so bad it's good comfort film.

I’m going old school: Police Academy, Caddyshack, National Lampoons, Uncle Buck, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Brewsters Millions.

Anything from movies for men especially with sharks or scifi Oooh, yes. Preferrably involving volcanoes, earthquakes or a combination of both. I think the channel should be renamed "Movies for Mummies" as their output does seem to be just up my street.

Snakes On A Plane.

It's 'our film' for DH and I. We saw it while on a wet and windy mini break in a remote seaside town. We were the only ones in the tiny 30 seat cinema.

We exchange happy glances whenever it's mentioned or if we catch it while flicking channels.

Nic cage as referenced by several pps is usually a good bet for this. Con air, face/off are two that immediately spring to mind.

Also sharknado, obvs.

San Andreas is great too - the entire of la collapses and he has to FIND HIS DAUGHTER.

oh and ofc taken. I will find you and I will kill you. Superb.

Another one for Hot Tub Machine,IMO correctly fulfills the criteria of bad enough to redeem itself.
