We have 3 people, 1 TV. (Living Room)

My colleague has 4 people and 8 TVs
(4 x bedroom, 1 x living room, 1x kitchen, 1 x dining room, 1 x study/snug)

We were just chatting and wondered if it was "normal" to have more TVs than people.i think it is, she thinks she's unusual.

1 tv; 5 people

Four people and just the one tv. We used to have five but realised we never watched them and gradually got rid of them. The kids just don't watch a TV anymore as its all on their tablets.

3 people, 4 TVs, although DD doesn't use her bedroom one much at all. She prefers tablet/laptop. One in sitting room, gets used on high days and holidays or for XBox. One in family room - most often used. One in our bedroom - used morning and night for watching the news etc or if we have early night for putting a film on. I fall asleep much earlier than DH so it's nice sometimes to go to bed at the same time but for him to watch something while I sleep!

5 people
TV in lounge - used most days
TV in study - used most days for watching or gaming
TV In our bedroom - can’t actually remember last time it was used

2 of the kids have tablets that they watch Netflix/YouTube on and I have a tablet I watch Netflix on while I’m cooking etc. DH has a tablet but I don’t think he really watches stuff on it.

Jinglejanglefish · 26/06/2019 22:31

1 TV 3 people

Purpleartichoke · 26/06/2019 22:31

Everyone also has a smartphone and at least one computer so those are options as well.

One tv and 7 people here

ChesterDrawsDoesntExist · 26/06/2019 22:33

5 people and three TVs but only two are plugged in.
The third sits in DS's room gathering dust.

Floralnomad · 26/06/2019 22:34

3 people and 6 TVs: lounge , front room , 3x bedrooms, study . Only 2 get used regularly and thats the lounge and my bedroom .

MyNewBearTotoro · 26/06/2019 22:35

6 people, 1 TV. But plenty of other screens (laptops/ tablets/ phones) which can be used to watch TV - the kids rarely watch anything on the actual television.

IHaveBrilloHair · 26/06/2019 22:35

Schoolchoicesucks · 26/06/2019 22:42
