We have 3 people, 1 TV. (Living Room)

My colleague has 4 people and 8 TVs
(4 x bedroom, 1 x living room, 1x kitchen, 1 x dining room, 1 x study/snug)

We were just chatting and wondered if it was "normal" to have more TVs than people.i think it is, she thinks she's unusual.

BullBullBull · 26/06/2019 20:48

3 people 5 TVs. Not all of them get used that much though.

1 in sitting room, 1 in family room, 1 in spare room, 2 in DS bedroom for his gaming

sweetkitty · 26/06/2019 20:48

6 people 6 TVs, load of watching on iPads and phones too

Cassimin · 26/06/2019 20:48

7 TVs
5 people

icannotremember · 26/06/2019 20:48

No. There are three TVs (only one receives programmes though, the others are small ones connected to games consoles) and five people.

blaaake · 26/06/2019 20:49

6 people in the house, 7 TV's (one in each bedroom, one in the main living room and one in the dining room)

SimonJT · 26/06/2019 20:49

Two people and one TV.

boatyardblues · 26/06/2019 20:51

2 TVs, 4 people but the 2nd TV is for the xbox so not sure if it counts. We’ve never had TVs in bedrooms. I recently discovered the Netflix app for weekend lie-ins. 👌

SpeckledyHen · 26/06/2019 20:53

2 TVs 4 people . Never had a TV in any bedroom .

Celebelly · 26/06/2019 20:54

We have three TVs and three of us (although DD is only four months old so a few months ago we would have had more TVs than people!)

Littlechocola · 26/06/2019 20:56

5 people, 1 tv. We hardly watch it though.
We have 6 stereos instead (kitchen, snug, one in each bedroom).

Batshittery · 26/06/2019 20:56

2 people - 3 tv's. One in living room, one in our bedroom and one in spare bedroom for when I can't sleep and go in there.

bengalcat · 26/06/2019 20:57

3 humans 1television

123tweet · 26/06/2019 20:59

5 people, 1 tv

I'd say she's unusual, I can't think of anyone I know who has more than one TV...

AuditAngel · 26/06/2019 20:59

Currently 5 people and 1 working TV.

We also have a broken one, but that has been the case since about November. However, we also have 4 laptops and 6 iPads, hence not having replaced the broken tv

Cookit · 26/06/2019 21:01

4 people (two young children though), 1 TV.

I would actually think that as years pass the number of TVs the average family will own will go down. I don’t see my children begging for their own TVs in 10 years time.. they’ll probably seem obsolete. My three year old even has no interest in TV, he’d rather use the Kindle.

S0CKS · 26/06/2019 21:02

Yep
6 tvs 4 bedroom living room kitchen 2 people

Ffsnosexallowed · 26/06/2019 21:07

2 TVs, 4 people. The one in the spare room is very rarely used. My mum lives on her own and has 3

adaline · 26/06/2019 21:08

Two people, two TV's.

But we also have a laptop, two smartphones, a kindle and two tablets!

PlatypusPie · 26/06/2019 21:09

Two TVs, two people . One in sitting room , one in spare room so hardly used. I watch mostly on iPad.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 26/06/2019 21:09

4 people, 0 TVs. If we want to watch anything, we have laptops.

MamaFlintstone · 26/06/2019 21:09

2 TVs, 3 people. We don’t do TVs in the bedroom - I think it’s that which makes the big difference to the number people have.

TastingTheRainbow · 26/06/2019 21:10

We’ve got 5 TV’s and 5 people. Only because my children are now teens and have TV’s in their bedrooms. When they were younger we had 2 TV’s and that was fine.

BogglesGoggles · 26/06/2019 21:10

It’s weird. At most I can understand having two. We don’t have any but we have computers etc

Nat6999 · 26/06/2019 21:10

2 people 4 TV's 1 in living room, 1 in my bedroom, 2 in Ds room, one for gaming & 1 for watching TV ( Gaming one is old one out of living room)
