Just that really, what one unsolved crime/mystery/news story do toy wish would be solved?

For me, its Madeleine McCann. It may well just be because of the age I am, its one of the first ones I remember really clearly as it happened.

What about you?

Patrick warren and David Spencer. Very close to home, I believe somebody or even multiple people round there knows what happened to those poor boys.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 08/04/2019 17:10

All children that have gone missing and adults because they are someones child and maybe parent/partner

Of course Madeleine McCann because there has been so much publicity and what the family are going through the not knowing is what so many are having to deal with: To have to live with that pain and fear constantly will break anyone

FoxFoxSierra · 08/04/2019 21:05

Ebby Steppach, such incompetence by the police! I've seen interviews with her parents and they seem like such lovely people who are absolutely broken by their daughter's death, I wish for them to know who killed her and finally have some closure

alltoomuchrightnow · 08/04/2019 21:43

Leah Croucher who is from my area, a teenage girl missing right now

MissGuernsey · 08/04/2019 21:57

Claudia Lawrence

There is a book called 'Gone' about the case.

Have you seen the film about the Bergman case?

WillGymForPizza

Andrew Gosden is another. I think that unlike a lot of missing people, there is a real possibility that he's alive. But maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part?

I think he is still alive.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 08/04/2019 22:11

I came on to say Madeline McCann
but after reading thread there are so many tragic unsolved cases-
Jill Dando
ben needham
claudia lawrence
david kelly
what I find the saddest is that parents, siblings, partners, loved ones are tortured by never knowing-I 'm not sure if I could bear it.

Hidingtonothing · 08/04/2019 22:33

Poppi Worthington too, not so much mystery in this case except how on earth the police made such a mess of the investigation but she deserves justice Sad

Ginger1982 · 08/04/2019 23:07

Andrew Gosden is a weird one. If he is still alive, what was he thinking? Unless he's unwell or just terrified to come back now, why would you put your parents through that?

TheFairyCaravan · 08/04/2019 23:25

I'd really love them to find out what happened to Katrice Lee.

whitesoxx · 08/04/2019 23:26

Well all of them. Obviously. But I'm not a sensationalist

Teresa Halbach
Kathleen Peterson

After being haunted by the film 'Changeling' I would like to know what really happened to Walter Collins. Christine Collins searched for him until the day he died.

poppet31 · 09/04/2019 00:32

Well I won't be sleeping tonight!

Tonsilss · 09/04/2019 00:58

They found some of Walter Collins' bones, with other boys' bones, buried by a serial killer, who was hung. His mother couldn't accept it.

LindsayDentonsCat · 09/04/2019 01:16

I'm sorry to read about your cousin @fudgesmummy I sincerely hope that you and your family get the answers you have been searching for for all these years.

Andrew Gosden plays on my mind a lot. There were so many posters around where I lived in London in 2007 and I always looked out for him out of bus windows, on the Tube, etc. I hope one day soon he turns up and reunites with his family.

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 09/04/2019 01:39

The murder of Jill Dando is related to Jimmy Saville & the paedophile rings amongst high profile males at that time within the politics & the BBC.

SrSteveOskowski · 09/04/2019 01:48

Jeremy Bamber. Innocent or guilty?

HandsOffMyRights · 09/04/2019 07:55

Thanks. If I recall the film leaves it a little ambiguous. I'd thought that because his mother kept searching and there was no confession that it was uncertain, poor poor woman.

Do you have proof of that or is it purely speculation?

dustarr73 · 09/04/2019 09:18

@MissGuernsey,no whats it called

fudgesmummy · 09/04/2019 09:18

Thank you @LindsayDentonsCat
Sadly my aunt and uncle both died not knowing what happened to their son ☹️

Lord Lucan

poppet31 · 09/04/2019 09:39

I've just been reading about Elisa Lam after seeing it mentioned in this thread. What a terrifying story. The cctv footage of her is truly disturbing.

Saladd0dger · 09/04/2019 10:03

Melanie hall went missing in bath 1996 and her remains were found 13 years later on the M5. Was only a child when she went missing. I think it’s suspected Christopher halliwell is responsible as links were made. I’m sure a link was made with him and Claudia Lawrence to
