Who is watching? Women's race at 2:15, men's race at 3:15
Go light blues Wink

Weather is set for light winds but rather wet.

disclaimer: normally I have zero interest in boat racing.

It was much closer than I expected.

Goldie and Blondie won too, so a clean sweep.

BondiandBabe · 07/04/2019 15:34

Cracknell will be quitting his Masters tomorrow no doubt. Looking for the next event to tick off his list.

Crackers has set a precedent now. It’ll be Hugh Laurie next year. 😂

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:35

It wouldn’t surprise me, Bondi.

CassandraCross · 07/04/2019 15:35

Good race and a close finish.

PickleFish · 07/04/2019 15:37

they keep saying "I've got to talk about James Cracknell" or "you can't help mention James Cracknell". Grrrr. No you don't, and yes you can! There are a lot of others to talk about and to.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/04/2019 15:38

I’d rather hear from the other crew members to be honest, BBC. Why couldn’t you interview Crackers later?

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:38

Not content with interviewing Cracknell about Cracknell, the first question they ask a crew member in interview is about bloody Cracknell.

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:39

He’s totally overshadowed it.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/04/2019 15:39

It's hacking me off too. It's a massive moment in those young students lives. Give them air time.

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:42

Total [facepalm] fleas

Ethelswith · 07/04/2019 15:43

Lovely that they have a member of RNLI giving out the prizes

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/04/2019 15:44

Must be hard to go up and down those steps in wellies.

DrDreReturns · 07/04/2019 15:44

What's this light blue bollocks? The Cambridge kit looks like it's green to me!

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:44

I’d definitely go arse over tit, BadKitten

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:44

Awkward missed handshake with the RNLI lady, every time Blush

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/04/2019 15:45

It is a very green sort of blue Grin

Very sorry to be so late on to this thread-
watching with great interest as DS rowed wth ppl in both Blue crews
as a schoolboy.
Am heartily fed up with the JC stuff and think it just feels so wrong-

CutSomeRug · 07/04/2019 15:46

It is more of a pale green, DrDre

DrDreReturns · 07/04/2019 15:47

Also are men allowed to be coxes in the women's crews?

Ethelswith · 07/04/2019 15:48

It's duck egg blue isn't it?

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 07/04/2019 15:49

@DrDreReturns-yes they are :)
a man coxed the cambridge women today

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/04/2019 15:49

DrDre I maintain that the colour has gradually changed in my lifetime from a more baby blue - but I can’t find any photos to prove my theory. I’ve been watching for over forty years though!
