It’s either at least 2, possibly 3 and one a Masters probably from Oxbridge, or left school with one GCSE in home economics......

I have just the one undergraduate degree.

I did do a postgrad which I could have turned into a Masters....but I just couldn’t be arsed Grin

Litttlepinkegg · 06/04/2019 17:50

I’ve got my undergrad currently doing —struggling— an MA wish it was over

ForalltheSaints · 06/04/2019 18:33

I only have one. My CV says I went to three universities, which is true, as one for professional qualifications (day release) and the other for a language course.

I don't have one.
I have my NNEB and 3 BAGA gymnastic badges {does a forward roll}

Glassier · 06/04/2019 18:46

I have three, BSc, MSc and PhD. I’m very proud of them all, as they were all such hard work!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 06/04/2019 18:54

I have one. It is a 1:1 though!
And a post grad qualification, but it's a pgce not a masters (so it doesn't count?) but I don't have QTS.

mbosnz · 06/04/2019 18:59

I have two because I cocked up one the first time round.

It felt like unfinished business, and I wanted to retrain for a career, so I went back and did my original intended degree when I had the girls. (The career didn't eventuate. Still glad I got the degree. Pity about the matching eyewatering student loan though!)

Sexnotgender · 06/04/2019 18:59

also have a Brownie hostess badge

I'm super sleep deprived, I read that as the brownie HOSTAGE badge! I thought blimy the brownies have changed since I was one...

mrscee · 06/04/2019 19:02

I've only got 1

Psychologika · 06/04/2019 19:02

I've got two doctorates 🤓

DonkeyScramble · 06/04/2019 19:05

I've got 3 and am nearing completion of #4, a doctorate. I do them for fun.

dictionarycorners · 06/04/2019 19:10

It’s all changed now, you have to plan and throw a party, but in my day the Brownie Hostess badge meant you had, amongst other things, to make cups of tea and take a cake along to serve that you had made at home.

The woman granted with the role of judging these tasks saw you in her own home and sometimes FAILED girls!

The two that went the week before me passed but one of them bragged to Brown Owl about how her mother had bought her chocolate eclair (supposedly homemade) from the shop and the woman couldn’t tell the difference. Shock There was such a fuss that our badge judging was cancelled!

It resumed a few weeks later with someone else entirely who passed everyone even if you forgot to take your cake. She let you make a sandwich instead apparently!

OnMyWhistle · 06/04/2019 19:11

9 good GCSEs and 3 crap a levels here.

OnMyWhistle · 06/04/2019 19:13

Followed by a diploma which I’ve used for the last 10 years as a childminder.

Gettingnowhere · 06/04/2019 19:33

Well, I have three PhDs, but I don't think any of them really count

pineapplebryanbrown · 06/04/2019 19:39

I'm a singer in the Three Degrees, plus have loads of swimming badges including the inflating pyjamas one.

ComeOnGordon · 06/04/2019 19:40

I did my undergraduate degree as that was the only way into the job I wanted to do. Then after a few years in the job I got offered a chance to do a Masters module and just kept going till I got the masters. I really enjoyed it and although I left that job it’s helped me in the job I do now.

I really enjoyed doing the masters - was something just for me when I was most of the time in mum mode. Never thought of doing a PhD tho - that was a step too far

SummerHouse · 06/04/2019 19:41

I have a brownie badge in campanology and one degree in media production.

Very proud of my campanology badge.

Moominfan · 06/04/2019 19:43

So close to finishing my degree but ducked up last module. Very sore point. Should finish next year. I think Mumsnet crowd is very middle class.

Moominfan · 06/04/2019 19:43

Although I'm as working class as it gets though

Goingtobeflamed · 06/04/2019 19:48

It’s working class married up into middle class or became middle class with uni/work. The roots show!

NicoAndTheNiners · 06/04/2019 19:56

I'm currently at uni number 4.

Got 2 degrees, a post grad cert and nearly finished a masters.

Gwenhwyfar · 06/04/2019 20:12

"I didn't realise a masters counted as a degree, I'd say I only had one, but a masters too. "

What??
A masters is a master's degree!

Gettingnowhere · 06/04/2019 20:16

I'm from Australia and sometimes we get all the way up to 45 degrees

Slowknitter · 06/04/2019 20:21

I didn't realise a masters counted as a degree, I'd say I only had one, but a masters too.

Confused It's called a masters degree!
