I've prepared a shepherd's pie and a trifle for later so that I can binge watch tv until I need to turn the oven on.
What are you having? A roast or something different?

Omg trifle sounds amazing. We're having roast chicken with sausage meat stuffing and all the trimmings. No pudding but now I want trifle...

Lungelady · 17/03/2019 10:40

TrifleSmile
Love it.
We are going out for Lebanese food about 6 before a gig

Redshoeblueshoe · 17/03/2019 10:40

Roast beef. Just bang it in a low oven and spend all day watching TV.

Not thought about it yet, probably a sausage and bean bake for lunch.Or a BLT or just a bit of toast.
Teatime can look after itself.

Nnnnnineteen · 17/03/2019 10:45

Risotto today.

bluechameleon · 17/03/2019 10:46

We are having Indian food - spicy lamb chops, Kashmiri cauliflower and a lovely aubergine curry. I'll also do some sausages and sweetcorn for DS1 because he won't eat any of that except the naan. Pudding will be plum and apple crumble with cream.

Spieluhr · 17/03/2019 10:48

Teriyaki seafood stir fry.

PointlessUsername · 17/03/2019 10:50

Lasange & salad.

Pudding is left over birthday cake (chocolate Fudge) with squirty cream.

YessicaHaircut · 17/03/2019 10:50

Trifle sounds awesome!
We’re having Pieminster pies (sweet potato & goats cheese for DH, steak & ale for me) with mash, peas, carrots and lots of gravy.

Chocolateheaven123 · 17/03/2019 10:55

We are having KFC style chicken with paprika wedges, coleslaw, corn on the cob and salad.

longearedbat · 17/03/2019 10:59

We have got a beautiful rib of beef for tonight - homemade yorkshire pud etc. No pud though as it would be too much (for us, anyway).

StickyShoess · 17/03/2019 11:00

Chicken and leek pie and loads of veg
Birthday cupcakes for after

Aebj · 17/03/2019 11:01

We are in Australia. Today we went to Mandurah Crab Festival . Loads of food trucks and tasting of local products. We had a really nice rice and beef dish and a yummy cup cake for lunch.

OddCat · 17/03/2019 11:03

I've made a beef bourguignon with apple pie and homemade ice cream for me and an old work colleague- I've got a feeling he's not going to turn up though Angry

burntdinner · 17/03/2019 11:06

Supposed to be having roast beef but DP is doing the annual stocktake today and finishes when it's completed ( whatever time it takes ) so not sure when he's home , thinking I will cook beef later then take it out when it has 30 mins left , then once he gets in cook it last 30 mins along with the veg etc ? Do you think that will work ?

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/03/2019 11:08

Fry up, but not til later, 4ish probably.

onlyhereforthefood · 17/03/2019 11:12

GinisLife · 17/03/2019 11:27

Roast chicken dinner. The first since November. I might even do home made roasties

FrenchyQ · 17/03/2019 11:32

Chicken casserole today...had a roast on Friday. Got a fair bit to do today so needed something I could just bung in the oven and forget about!

UsernameTaken76 · 17/03/2019 11:44

Toad in the hole with cabbage/asparagus/purple sprouting broccoli cooked with bacon and lots of thick beef gravy. Followed by GU melting middle chocolate pots and daim ice cream. Have it about 7pm tonight can’t wait.

ChippyMinton · 17/03/2019 11:47

Jamie Oliver Hit n Run chicken traybake, olive sourdough bread and coleslaw. Homemade bakewell tart.

LikeACowsOpinion · 17/03/2019 11:48

I'm lounging on the sofa whilst roast beef is being cooked for me.

Full roast dinner, no cooking, no washing up.

Very happy today!

Insomnibrat · 17/03/2019 11:51

I'm now entirely invested in wether @OddCat 's colleague will turn up.

MakeUpGirl · 17/03/2019 11:51

We’re having shepherds pie too and then our Sunday treat for teatime is a picnic tea and lemon filled doughnuts
