Have you ever gone off a celebrity because of something they've done?

I used to really like Ewan McGregor until he had an affair.

Same with Robson Green in the 90s.

I loved Michael Moriarty (still do) but he's become a huge loony and an old soak.

Liked Ant McPartlin before the drink driving and infidelity.

Have you ever liked a celeb and then gone off them because of something they've said or done? Does it just prove that celebs are human like the rest of us?

A lot of these slebs are dodgy as fuck and quite a few of them are twat excuses for people.

StorminaBcup · 18/11/2018 21:43

I knew Mark Whalberg had a conviction shortly before he was hired for Calvin Klein campaign but I had no idea what it was for. I'm shocked he was hired. I wonder if he would still have been hired today.

You're welcome @BoringSoup Smile. It's nuts isn't it. He's not the only high profile flat earther either Confused

Krate · 18/11/2018 21:44

Jude Law. Thought he was fab till he fucked the nanny

MinecraftMother · 18/11/2018 21:44

It was a racist tinged robbery, I think (Wahlberg)...

chickhonhoneybabe · 18/11/2018 21:49

Emma Willis after watching delivering babies, there’s just something odd about her that I can’t quite put my finger on.

VladmirsPoutine · 18/11/2018 21:49

Mark Wahlberg is a despicable person. Even more so as he never actually had to face any consequences for the terrible person he is.

PepperSteaks · 18/11/2018 21:51

I feel like Tom Hiddleston properly messed up his career with this whole Taylor Swift thing. It’s made him seem fame hungry and a bit of a joke.
Was never a huge Johnny Depp fan but since he broke up with Vanessa and then how he treated Amber I won’t watch anything with him in.

VladmirsPoutine · 18/11/2018 21:51

Also that Conservative politician: Kwasi Kwarteng. I used to have a lot of respect for him till he drank the kool-aid.

cooblanket · 18/11/2018 21:53

Eddie Izzard

comeagainforbigfudge · 18/11/2018 21:56

Bradley cooper and lady gaga after their interview on graham norton show.

Johnny depp. Paul hollywood. Noel fielding.

All of whom i just have never ever "taken" to. Even before knowing any arsehole behaviours (although i dont know any about noel fielding, i just can't take to him)

Drookit · 18/11/2018 21:59

John Lennon for beating up Cynthia, letting her come home and find Yoko there in her bathrobe, marrying Yoko and producing the drivel that is Double Fantasy. All of that found out over the years and then the film of him taking the piss out of disabled people.
John Peel having a relationship with a young girl.
Ditto David Bowie.

What did Paul Simon do?

A580Hojas · 18/11/2018 21:59

Rolf Harris Sad - I used to love him.

John Peel [sex with 15 year old, ditto David Bowie].

Eddie Izzard - falling in love with himself over the marathon thing and now a Grade I prize arse.

longwayoff · 18/11/2018 22:00

Flintoff? Did he get hit on the head by a cricket ball?

gaggiagirl · 18/11/2018 22:01

Bertie Carvel. I saw an interview with him a few years ago and he was a total douche canoe. So far up his own arse.

A580Hojas · 18/11/2018 22:01

Oh yes, completely agree about the Tom Hiddlestone posing in his pants things (although I never particularly admired him before that tbh).

VanillaSugary · 18/11/2018 22:01

Eddie Izzard
Johnny Depp

Bouledeneige · 18/11/2018 22:05

Always disliked Ewan MacGregor as he was well known in the biz for being a continuously dirty dog with many many women all the time.
Tom Cruise for being a manipulative creepy fake
Jonny Depp - self indulgent creepy sleaze bag
Ben Affkeck - though I think it's probably the alcoholism that makes him a douche
Leonardo DeCaprio - paunchy middle aged model shagger
Beckham - OBE shenanigans and pretence at happy marriage
And the rest of them sleazy douche bags.

PodgeBod · 18/11/2018 22:06

I must admit I'm a fan again after her concert was targeted in Manchester and how she handled it- but remember when Ariana Grande licked some donuts that were for sale in a shop? That was gross.

PavlovianLunge · 18/11/2018 22:07

Not just Johnny Depp, but JK Rowling for her support of his being cast in the Fantastic Beasts movie. Really disappointed by that.

GetSchwifty · 18/11/2018 22:09

Pharell Williams for saying he wouldn’t be changing any of his newborn triplets nappies, or dressing them. That’s his wife’s job apparently.
And for plagiarising a Marvin Gaye song.

Clawdy · 18/11/2018 22:11

So David Tennant "married someone half his age."

There's actually a fourteen year age gap, they seem happily married with three children of their own, and he adopted her first child. Why would that make anyone dislike him?

Flutternotsoshy · 18/11/2018 22:12

Jim Carrey.
Went off him when I read an interview with him in my teens. Was recounting a "funny" story, in which a teenage fan came up and started gushing about his work.

Asked if he'd do a quick Ace Ventura quote/impression for him. He said no. Then added "I enjoy it but I also enjoy screwing my wife and I'm not doing that for you either"

Kid was about 13.

Put me right off.

shirleyschmidt · 18/11/2018 22:15

Another vote for Orlando Bloom. Used to think he was gorgeous and lovely until the naked Katy Perry shenanigans. What a weirdo.

Also Reese Witherspoon after the drink/driving thing, and how she supposedly threw her weight around during the arrest. It just made me think very differently of her, and I can't 'unsee' it now!

A580Hojas · 18/11/2018 22:20

YY to 40 year old David Tennant marrying a 26 year old.

Katedotness1963 · 18/11/2018 22:23

Years ago Oprah Winfrey went on her show and slagged off a hotel, that didn’t allow dogs in, for not allowing her dogs in. Ranted on about didn’t they “look like tiny people in fur coats”. Get over yourself, missus! Then another time went on about how tacky some peoples decor was, who on earth would have silk flowers, if you can’t afford real you should just do without. Then her whole book club thing where she went on as if she’d invented reading...

Haven’t watched her in years, is she still on TV?
