Have you ever gone off a celebrity because of something they've done?

I used to really like Ewan McGregor until he had an affair.

Same with Robson Green in the 90s.

I loved Michael Moriarty (still do) but he's become a huge loony and an old soak.

Liked Ant McPartlin before the drink driving and infidelity.

Have you ever liked a celeb and then gone off them because of something they've said or done? Does it just prove that celebs are human like the rest of us?

As someone who is half black half Asian I find it especially Hmm that he’s just swanning about being a famous movie star!

Samcro · 18/11/2018 20:52

John lennon, saw the clip recently of him taking the piss out of people with cp.
Added gervais to my list a while back as he is a disblist twunt.
Obviously ian watkins, used to love the LP music.

OhioOhioOhio · 18/11/2018 20:52

Yeah me too 88. Up until 3 minutes ago I thought he was awesome.

ahouseofleaves · 18/11/2018 20:55

Kevin Spacey for obvious reasons. That was so upsetting.

Really sorry to read that Bertie Carvel is a douche. I hadn't expected that.

PsychedelicSheep · 18/11/2018 20:59

I could never stand John Lennon, he was an absolute wanker.

Beck - also for Scientology reasons. Was gutted when I found that out!

PsychedelicSheep · 18/11/2018 21:00

That's shocking about Mark Wahlberg, I had no idea!

loveandstuffing · 18/11/2018 21:00

It put me off him because he was (is!) supposedly happily married, I had naively thought he was one of the good guys so when he prepositioned me I was absolutely gutted. I turned him down, which is something the 18 year old me would not have done Grin Huge boyband, one of five lads.

dawnacorns · 18/11/2018 21:00

Martin Freeman after I read an interview with him.
Ewan McGregor- used to think he seemed really nice.

loveandstuffing · 18/11/2018 21:01

Propositioned me obviously 😂

longwayoff · 18/11/2018 21:02

Just taking this opportunity to say both the Ross brothers, Paul and Jonathan, have always had - to me at least - a sleazy saturday night, nudge nudge, wink wink, light entertainment air about them that I cant bear. But I'm sure they're both delightful people as evidenced by their near permanent employment by the bbc.

Nocado · 18/11/2018 21:04

Gerard Depardieu for being a rapist multiple times.
Mark Wahlberg
Eddie Izzard

NotUmbongoUnchained · 18/11/2018 21:10

I feel like I’ve killed the thread now. Sorry Grin

longwayoff · 18/11/2018 21:16

Just shocked notumbongo. Appalling, cant believe anyone's prepared to employ him.

nancy75 · 18/11/2018 21:17

I knew that stuff about Mark wahlberg & I have never watched a film with him in it. Absolute bastard, I don’t care if he says he’s changed, people don’t change that much

PieintheSky2 · 18/11/2018 21:20

Ant - his family image forever ruined. Shouldn’t have drunk driven or split from his wife (all that heart ache after no children).

Ewan McGregor - cheater

Jude Law - sleeping with nanny

Julia Roberts - stealing another woman’s husband and then wearing that teacher - aloe Vera

OhioOhioOhio · 18/11/2018 21:21

What did Martin Freeman do?

VerbeenaBeeks · 18/11/2018 21:24

Jimmy Saville, used to love Jim'll Fix It when little.

Roxanne Pallet, from when she was a pants on fire liar and bully in Celeb BB

BoringSoup · 18/11/2018 21:26

@StorminaBcup- thanks for the link re Freddie Flintoff.
What an idiot.

starlight45 · 18/11/2018 21:28

Ewan McGregor.
George Clarke, see above...
Kirsty Alsop , the way she treats her dcs.
Holly Willoughby, the millionaire expecting British Gas to come and repair her boiler immediately because she's on tv.
Leonardo DiCaprio, because he only dates young models.
Jason Manford cheating on his pregnant girlfriend.
Jimmy Carr, the tax.
Jonny Depp
Ronan Keating. Laughed at a woman who fell over instead of helping her and cheating on first wife.

beanaseireann · 18/11/2018 21:30

Ronan Keating
Eamon Holmes
I didn't fancy either of them but was disgusted they cheated.
Mark Walhlberg
Princess Diana and her married men- surely she knew the hurt it causes.
Brad Pitt
Hugh Grant - he has two children with a young woman. Was he in a relationship with her ? And of course his Divine Brown episode.
Julia Roberts- you could have any man in the world but chose one with a partner and child or children.
Ewan Mc Gregor.
As you can see I don't like cheats.

Ginger1982 · 18/11/2018 21:33

I didn't know that about Mark Whalberg but I didn't like him after he said something stupid after 9/11 about how United 93 wouldn't have crashed if he'd been on board cause he would have overpowered the terrorists and landed the plane...

dontalltalkatonce · 18/11/2018 21:34

Michel's excuse what that he worked hard when he was young and didn't earn much.

Julia Roberts' car got stuck up here in our area, which is very rural. A villager and his wife we know pulled her out and she was a total BITCH to them, trying to tell them not to telling anyone because 'do you know who I am?' and such. I'd have left the cow in the ditch and sprayed mud on her as I screeched off.

And yes, fucking another person's husband and being a bitch about it. He's a twat, too, for that.

Binglebong · 18/11/2018 21:35

Mark WahlbergShock

Flintoff I am sad about. If he's serious which I'm still delusional not sure about.

Was it a BSB or NS? Grin

dontalltalkatonce · 18/11/2018 21:36

he has two children with a young woman. Was he in a relationship with her ?

He has five, including having two women pregnant at the same time and one of him he was in a relationship with.

Guy Pearce 'I never want kids' then cheats on his wife when she's 48 and gets the other gal pregnant. Now he's Mr Family Man.

dontalltalkatonce · 18/11/2018 21:41

Rebecca Gayheart killed a 9-year-old boy with her car, pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter so she got off with probation. The boy had jaywalked, but several cars ahead of her had stopped, she instead swerved round them and struck the child, killing him.
