Have you ever gone off a celebrity because of something they've done?

I used to really like Ewan McGregor until he had an affair.

Same with Robson Green in the 90s.

I loved Michael Moriarty (still do) but he's become a huge loony and an old soak.

Liked Ant McPartlin before the drink driving and infidelity.

Have you ever liked a celeb and then gone off them because of something they've said or done? Does it just prove that celebs are human like the rest of us?

NotUmbongoUnchained · 18/11/2018 18:15

Aaaah prick.

Cheesymonster · 18/11/2018 18:16

Tom Cruise, following his opinion on post natal depression.

dialecticalmaterialism · 18/11/2018 18:16

I know TheQueef- it was pretty devastating.

jerkkneed · 18/11/2018 18:16

Liam Gallagher for many things really (cheating etc...) but more recently grabbing his current partner by the throat on that cctv footage.

Jonathan Toss has always been a total sleaze. Mysog git. I did read/hear that Chris Evans was a sex pest who exposed himself to one of his female co-presenters for years. That seems to have 'gone away', but somehow it didn't surprise me. Johnny depp is the obvious one and I didn't doubt Amber's side for a moment. Ewan McGregor, what a cliche. But Brad Pitt allegedly being aggressive to his own kids - v disturbing if true. Confused

Kitty2019 · 18/11/2018 18:22

Gerard Butler for schmoozing with Israeli officials and raising funds for IDF. So disappointed....

Foslady · 18/11/2018 18:22

Behermoth - say Marcus last year, he admitted he was a complete arse and totally wrong Re his affair, quite refreshing!

dontalltalkatonce · 18/11/2018 18:23

Loads of them!

Michel Roux Jnr, dp & I loved him on masterchef, until we found out the his restaurants kept the staff’s tips.

Oh, yeah! 'I worked SO hard' - had a free place to stay in the middle of Paris with his grandmother in her posh flat and used connections to get jobs, all the more justification for robbing his staff. Cunt.

Ewan, yep. Just like all the other spoonies out there. Rowan Atkinson, Jeremy Kyle, Paul Hollywood, Ronan Keating, Johnny Depp, Robin Williams, Phil Collins, Ben Affleck - all the ones who plugged the nanny.

Load of preening narcs, most of them.

Always been a fan of Eddie Izzard but now refuse to watch anything he’s in due to recent comments.

I also used to have a huge crush on Gavin Rosdale, until we were in the same nightclub one night and he sent over someone he was with with a note to my friend just saying - Hotel X, Room 123, be there in 30 minutes. He hadn’t said one word to her and expected her to know who he was and just leave her mates and fuck off to a random hotel for a shag. This was about 12 years ago so while he was still married too.

Whatsnewwithyou · 18/11/2018 18:27

Woody Allen, Aziz Ansari, Kevin Spacey, Johnny Depp, Michael Jackson, Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Louis CK. And probably a lot more I can't think of right now. It's depressing.

I’m sure I read something shitty about Ian Somerholder.

Off to google!

LadyFlumpalot · 18/11/2018 18:36

Yup. Well more of a band really. Lost Prophets. Loved my CD. Cannot bring myself to listen to it now.

Rockbird · 18/11/2018 18:36

Used to love Stephen McGann until I took against something he said and the scales fell from my eyes. I realised he's a complete tosser and I can't watch Call the Midwife anymore. He's fucked up my Sunday evenings Angry.

Johnny Depp. snivelling little wretch.

SimplySteve · 18/11/2018 18:44

Why Ronaldo? Paying someone a substantial amount to keep schtum about their sex.

thetwinkletoescollective · 18/11/2018 18:45

I used to really fancy John Alford in Grange Hill and then that Fire Fighting programme ...until he did something with someone that I really can't say on here, but it made me want to throw up at the time and it still makes me feel queasy. The only thing was she was in a nightclub when they met so maybe... just possibly.... he thought she was 18.

I have also seen Robbie Williams do that sending someone over to get a girl to meet him for 'serious conversation'. In this case I wished it was me but it was the girl in front of me!! (This was in his much younger Rock DJ/fit days).

iggleypiggly · 18/11/2018 18:47

Hugh Grant. Used to love that man!

dontalltalkatonce · 18/11/2018 18:49

Hugh Grant. Used to love that man!

Oh, yeah, now he's like something out of Jeremy Kyle.

RockNRollNerd · 18/11/2018 18:49

Bear did the scales not fall when he was interviewed after losing to D’Oliveira in 2012. I remember vividly watching it and DH and I saying what an arrogant prick he was and presumably we’d just seen a flash of his true colours...

BurningTheToast · 18/11/2018 18:50

I had a tiny crushette on someone and went off them immediately they used an apostrophe incorrectly on Instagram.

I have a very low tolerance for these things...

TheSquashyHatOfMrGnosspelius · 18/11/2018 18:51

Paul McCartney. Due to his singing mostly. Totally because of his singing actually.
