Have you ever gone off a celebrity because of something they've done?

I used to really like Ewan McGregor until he had an affair.

Same with Robson Green in the 90s.

I loved Michael Moriarty (still do) but he's become a huge loony and an old soak.

Liked Ant McPartlin before the drink driving and infidelity.

Have you ever liked a celeb and then gone off them because of something they've said or done? Does it just prove that celebs are human like the rest of us?

How has Mel Gibson had only one mention in 21 pages?

He used to be one of my favourite actors but now, I refuse to watch anything he is.

Sean Connery, not only one of those that like to comment on political stuff whilst living a life of luxury in another country, but also for his comments about how he used to treat his female stars and his ex-wife. Ugh.

LaDaronne · 21/11/2018 13:28

And somebody went off Olly cause he eye rolled at someone. That has to be the most stupid reason ever.

Finally! the heat is off me for going off the Tennant Grin

KingkillerKvothe · 21/11/2018 13:39

I loved Paloma Faith until I found out that her baby is 'gender neutral' fuck off Paloma. It's either a boy or a girl. It doesn't mean you have to dress it head to toe in blue/pink and shower it with dolls/tractors. Biology is important.

Definitely disappointed in Ant of Ant and Dec fame.

Ronan Keating absolutely broke my heart when he had an affair.

Patroclus · 21/11/2018 13:54

Johnny Vegas still goes and stays in the same caravan in Bridlington every year for a holiday.

nicebitofquiche · 21/11/2018 13:58

Re paloma's gender neutral child. She has been on the TV a few times in the last week. In every interview she talks about my child or the baby. Never saying the name or my son or daughter. I didn't like her before but now I really dislike her and feel very sorry for the child/baby.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 21/11/2018 14:03

I know a couple of teens who paid a lot of money for an interactive event with David Tennant. He was rude, dismissive and left very early, leaving a lot of young Dr Who fans very disappointed

To me, that is infinitely worse than falling in love with a woman 16 years his junior.

It really disgusts me when slebs treat the people who made them famous and keep them in the public eye (and therefore richly rewarded) like muck! And particularly when those people are children.

DraculaAD1972 · 21/11/2018 14:03

I think saw something re Paloma Faiths baby: I'm sure I remember her saying she wasn't raising it gender neutral, she juts wasn't telling the press if it was boy or girl.

MrsJayy · 21/11/2018 15:24

Paloma faith is the only person to have such a spshul baby though thought everybody knew that Grin

MrsJayy · 21/11/2018 15:25

I like Paloma but we gettit lovey you gave birth you have a baby

dontalltalkatonce · 21/11/2018 15:53

This! And to that I have to say one celeb who truly adores her fans and is Celine Dion. I've worked with her several times and she does truly go out of her way for the fans as she says she wouldn't be here without their support.

Clawdy · 21/11/2018 16:01

All depends on what you hear, I guess. Two friends of mine met David Tennant and found him delightful and friendly, and happy to pull a funny face on a selfie with their little boy. And incidentally, it's a 14 year age gap, not 16. Exactly the same gap as my parents who were together for nearly fifty years!

HotSauceCommittee · 21/11/2018 16:15

Disappointed to hear about Ben Miller and Sandi Tocsvik.

BlancheM · 21/11/2018 16:21

I went right off Paloma for the baby weirdness. She was saying things like 'boys should be allowed to care for baby dolls and pushchairs' like she was being a groundbreaking maverick. Can't remember what else she was saying but it struck me as not being that well informed (conflating gender with biology) and like it was all about her being a cool mum, rather than being led by her child.

MrsJayy · 21/11/2018 17:04

I agree with you Blanche she is trying to be all cool quirky mum and it is a teeny bit irritating, see also Russell Brand who spouts the same nonsense like he invented parenting

Joinourclub · 21/11/2018 17:26

I think Paloma is great.

kenandbarbie · 21/11/2018 18:00

What did Tom Jones do in the 70s except womanizing and not looking after his live child? Not that these are good btwGrinjust wondering if there was extra stuff!!!!

uglyandlovingit · 21/11/2018 18:06

@kenandbarbie

Shockingly, the U.K. Media aren't allowed to say what Tom Jones has done. But if your Google his name alongside "South Africa", you will find out.

Patroclus · 21/11/2018 18:21

I think it actually came to court in the US or somewhere regarding Tom Jones but yeah, cant be reported here.

kenandbarbie · 21/11/2018 18:26

Just googled Tom Jones South Africa Shock

CoraPirbright · 21/11/2018 18:35

So disappointed re: Chris Pratt. Was so enjoyng his transformation from slightly squishy in Parks n Rec to bona fide gym god in Jurassic Park.

Disappointed to hear all the Rory McIlroy dislike on here. Have it on fairly good authority that he discovered that she was having an affair with a close family member of his and therefore called off the wedding. Didn’t reveal it as he didnt want to expose them all to hideous Jeremy Kyle, tabloid style exposure.

loubeylou68smellsofreindeerpoo · 21/11/2018 18:36

Mel Gibson
Michael Jackson
Rolf
Gary glitter
And my childhood was ruined as I wanted him to fix it for me

loubeylou68smellsofreindeerpoo · 21/11/2018 18:37

And David Essex read his autobiography and he's a total arse

KitchenDancefloor · 21/11/2018 18:48

Oh no no no. Just googled Tom Jones South Africa.

How much has he paid for that not to come out in the UK I wonder?

Beyond awful.

Patroclus · 21/11/2018 19:00

I think it (TJones allegations) came out amongst the stuff with Weinstein, so not that long ago. I was expecting somthing to come of it soon but nothing seems to have. Id be suprised if it was a one off.

ihatethecold · 21/11/2018 19:07

Urgh.. I hope he gets charged, Filthy git
