What 'every day' tasks do you hate doing?

what mundane daily tasks do you hate having to do?

Anything to do with laundry

Cooking

Closing the curtains

Washing dc1's lunch box

Taking the rubbish and recycling out to the big bin, especially if it's been raining and there's a puddle on the lid that splashes all over me when I lifted it up.

I love ironing...

I hate cleaning my retainers, mopping/ vaccumming (we have pets and it gets messy again in half an hour), dog poop scooping in the garden isn’t fun, I also have this weird thing about unplugging things- like when I have to move the hair dryer or move my phone charger upstairs.

Unpacking the food shop. If it was me, I'd just leave the bags under the table and use things from there. Fortunately, someone else is happy to put all the stuff away.

Driving. Hate it so passionately.

@craftymum01 I make DH use it! Each one I've been near since childhood has the same stink. I think they make the cups and plates smell too so I will usually wash my own

Not daily, but most hated task for me is changing sheets.
Bringing the washing in. Weird because I don't mind putting it out at all!

Shopping. Buy what's on the list, go home.

Washing up no where to put a dishwasher

Washing the dishes. Though I hate other people doing them too as they don't do them like I do them 😊 think I have a problem!

Emptying the dishwasher - I try and leave it for DH if at all possible, but recently we're in an annoying cycle of it finishing in the middle of the day and I really can't get away with leaving it.

Not necessarily a task every day but listening to voicemails... it makes my teeth itch

Filling and emptying the dishwasher, laundry, making my bed, general tidying. I swear I'm domesticated and can and do all of these things but I just really really hate them

Hoovering stairs. I’d rather do labour again with no pain relief

I love cleaning drains with soda, vinegar and boiling water. Happy times!

Dusting - makes me sneeze.
Deciding what to make for dinner. I have no problem cooking it once I've decided, It's just the actual choosing I can't be bothered with.

Unloading the dishwasher & taking toys out of the bath

I hate cleaning the shower screen. It's impossible.

However I love sorting the laundry. I actually get a bit excited about doing it.

Putting your hands and half your upper body in a wet duvet cover to retrieve the pillow case that has got lodged in one of the corners during the wash. (Needless to say duvet studs or buttons long gone!)

I honestly feel that washing up is slowly killing my soul. I will be souless by the end of the year!

Brushing my teeth. I do it everyday because otherwise i'd be a minger but i loathe the whole process with passion. Totally irrational.

Putting make-up on and off. Both are a massive faff but has to be done...

Cleaning the hair from the shower plughole. Grim.

Housework. Anything domestic. Unless I have a study deadline.

I've tried to stop moaning about having to load and unload the dishwasher because the alternative is actually washing up....shudder!

Petrol in the car 100% and hanging the washing to dry!
