Saw on Facebook that its now 20 years old! Shock
I adore it and watch it over and over. Even the missing episode from series 3 where they leave baby David with Anthony so they can go boozing. Plus all the specials including the brilliant Queen of Sheba.

duskyMoth I have Northern relatives but I was mostly brought up in SW UK and I love it, dh too. But his parents just sat through it with catsbum faces when we watched it once. ...not a single smirk or anything.

I’m not someone who cries at a tv programme but the scene where Barbara is brushing nanas hair and she had been moaning but suddenly turns and says I do love you Barbara makes me cry every time

I was pregnant with my first DC at the same time as Denise was pregnant with Baby David. I would constantly say to DH in a simpering voice "the baby wants a Wagon Wheel!!"
Also whenever I am buying sandwich meat (so pretty much every week really!) I hear Nana in my head saying "can she have wafer thin ham, Barbara?!"
So many funny quotes but I just can't think of them off the top of my head!
