Anyone?

I will start off with a link to my latest post, a part of the story of Beth (formerly known as Dora) who moved to Geneva to escape a relationship turned sour.

This is NOT me, by the way. I have drawn on my knowledge of Geneva but it is not an autobiograpy :)

Evening All, here is my latest

Haven't caught up with all your posts here or on blogs yet but had a look at yours MmeG. Love your style and congrats on finishing your book. I am somewhat in awe of you!

bullet234 · 15/08/2011 23:36

I like the look of the beetroot risotto bftb. You toddler is right though. It is definitely red Grin.
This is my latest one variousstuff-bullet.blogspot.com/.

Tee2072 · 16/08/2011 08:05

Stitchthis, that is hysterical!!

Oh man, Bread, you make me hungry and I just ate!

Bullet, it looks like you have great things to say but if I may offer some constructive criticism, it would be much easier to read if you double returned after paragraphs, so there is blank space between!

Lovely pictures Peppermint.

BsDad you write really well. I hope your son has a great birthday.

MmeG wow, a published writer on here! Cool!

Apologies to anyone else new that I have missed. A small boy is asking for a story!

MmeGuillotine · 16/08/2011 09:47

Thank you. blush

This is an old post but might appeal to any Georgette Heyer fans on here, seeing as it would have been her birthday! :)

stitchthis · 16/08/2011 18:24

Had to get this off my chest Angry

stitchthis · 16/08/2011 20:17

Oh dear. Did I scare everyone off?! Sorry

breadfortheboys · 16/08/2011 22:11

I thought it was great - your strong, passionate voice speaking out against lazy coverage of something that affects you directly.

Slightly odd reading it with a crocheted poo next to it but maybe it added something Wink.

Trivia from me with culinary disaster afoot in the bftb kitchen!

Not had the energy to do anything other than go to work, come home and sleep so not caught up with anyone yet..apols.

Hello all

Here is my latest offering. I've finally been accepted into the mumsnet blogger's network :)

stitchthis · 17/08/2011 21:20

Hurrah Dilly!

breadfortheboys · 17/08/2011 21:23

Great news Dilly. I love origami paper!

Here's more from me.

Thank you. The most recent one should have spaces now. I tried to put paragraphs in by pressing "tab", but unfortunately blogger ignored that.

J4D3 · 18/08/2011 14:56

Hey all, I've been looking through your blogs and loved reading them. A friend recently conviced me to start blogging about my TTC adventure on Blogger. I'm still yet to be conviced it'll make interesting reading or not. My blog is still a work in progress as I only have 3 posts. I'd like to share but a tad embarrased as all of your blogs are so informative!

Do any of you have any advice for a newbie?

TheAlphaParent · 18/08/2011 18:22

I'd love to read your blog J4D3. Do you have a link?

DillyTante · 18/08/2011 19:11

J4d3, some of us are newbies too. We are very friendly on here but will give constructive criticism if requested. Blog about something you care about. Link to other blogs that you find interesting in your blog roll. Comment on other blogs that you like in the hope that people will come and look at yours (but I try not to do that too much as it's all a bit try hard!). Include a wide variety of tags so other people find your blog when the search on something you have written about. Include nice pictures. Pay attention to grammar and punctuation or you'll upset the pedants.

Good luck and do link here.

J4D3 · 18/08/2011 19:39

Alpha Aw I've come over all shy now. It feels like I'm about to give my teenage diary to my mother!

Dilly That is so helpful, thank you. I'd love some constructive ctriticism, I can take it (looks back over years in marketing and shudders), honest! My unsuccessful attempts at trying to conceive is something I care a lot about so I'm hoping I can blog about my learning process.

Ok, here's my blog in all its infancy!

TheAlphaParent · 18/08/2011 20:42

I've just received my first flame on my blog.

Ahhh it comes with the territory.

MmeLindor. · 18/08/2011 21:37

Finally got around to blogging this week. We have my parents here so it has been difficult.

The Best B&Bs of Scotland

Off to read some of the blogs I have missed.

OP posts:
stitchthis · 18/08/2011 21:55

J4 hello! I'd just write what you feel tbh. If you want lots of hits and to create a network then dilly is spot on. If you want a record, a place to vent then do what you want. I'm towards the second option personally, but I waver! Lovely to have you here anyway!

stitchthis · 18/08/2011 21:56

Alpha, dish the dirt... Why the flame?!

DirtyMartini · 18/08/2011 21:59

Eek, Alpha. I guess you are posting about subjects that people do get massively worked up & defensive (or offensive) over ... I always see your tweets etc and think WOW she's brave Grin

Hope it didn't worry you. Does it show on the blog or was it a malicious type of post that had to be trashed?

Oh and, hello to everyone else, including people new to the thread :) ... have not caught up with thread for a few days but have been sneaking peeks at one or two people's blogs. Really enjoyed your latest post, stitchthis (the one after the poo, I mean) but couldn't think of anything useful to say in response.

Hope to catch up properly soon.
