Anyone?

I will start off with a link to my latest post, a part of the story of Beth (formerly known as Dora) who moved to Geneva to escape a relationship turned sour.

This is NOT me, by the way. I have drawn on my knowledge of Geneva but it is not an autobiograpy :)

Good title, NG. I think Tee's advice is right. I think your intro is good; if you can bear it I would stick a photo onto your profile. People seem to like that, it makes them think of you as real and remember you/come back to read more of your doings.

nevergoogle · 07/08/2011 13:11

ok, i've tinkered with it. paragraphs going a bit wonky, but i've elaborated.
eek, a photo? i'll work on it.

Tee2072 · 07/08/2011 15:33

That looks much better NG. And sounds like you're off on quite the adventure. Grin

A historic poo documented for posterity.

MmeLindor. · 08/08/2011 15:27

NG
I like it. Stick a couple of photos in there, they don't have to be of you - my avatar is the blog pic and most of my pics are non-identifiable ones.

Hi All,

My blog went up yesterday, here's my latest post. Feedback very welcome.
I usually post under a different name but keeping my MN identity separate.

Oh, this one is proving popular. Only wrote it 10 mins ago and already over 80 views.

About London riots.

breadfortheboys · 09/08/2011 12:32

Thank you both Smile

MmeLindor, great piece about the riots, I'm not surprised it is generating so much interest.

I want to pick up on the 5 a day checklist and pick up on the food aspect of that, it is still writing itself in my head at the moment though!

MmeLindor. · 09/08/2011 18:14

Oh, that looks good. Love to read about Augusta. Will do so later

Thanks. The post is attracting a lot of interest

Love your blog Breadfortheboys... very nice and beautifully laid out.

MmeLindor, that was such a good post on the London riots... made me very sad though. I am here on my holidays, and all I am doing is reading about my beloved London and Liverpool burning, and I am asking why why why? :(

DM, really liking your posts... love the look and feel of your blog, its like peeking into someone's home and life, but in a good way, iyswim? :)

stitchthis · 10/08/2011 06:32

Mme Lindor I loved your blog. I agree btw completely.

Here's my latest on the sacrifices you make due to illness. Wink

NOt actually on my blog, but I've been invited to be a guest blogger for three months on the Mslexia magazine blog. Mslexia is a fantastic women writers' magazine, which I love and I'm so pleased to be a guest blogger there!

My first post just went up today: /Black Dog and Me

Not blogging, but enjoying them immensely. So much talent amongst mumsnetters. Always knew there was varied and interesting experiences on the talkboards, so great to see ideas expanded and developed in such creative ways.

Writers like Breadfortheboys and the Norfolk Kitchen blogger inspire me to try and be more experimental in the kitchen (although 'twas microwave curries tonight, the shame!) Their recipes are accessible and delicious, and the way their texts are laid out and illustrated are really very professional.

Stumbled across a great article on The Alpha Parent blog about the 'virgin gut' thealphaparent.blogspot.com/2011/07/virgin-gut-note-for-parents.html, which neatly sums up lots of thought provoking information about mixed feeding. Also loved the ponderings of the LaDouceVieSuisse on a wide range of subjects.

Keep 'em coming :)

TimeSculptor · 10/08/2011 19:08

Hi all, just added a post called STUNNERS IN TROUSERSWinkto my blog
(which has finally been formally accepted into Mumsnet - Yay!).

As my last post (Little Girl Lost) caused quite a few tears, and as everyone is so sad about the riots at the moment, I thought this might make us smile for a few minutes! It's turning the table on the men a bit... but all in good fun! Bye for now Jane G
