Over here ladies!

Well, my formula is

Between The Sheets = No frock coat = better spend the time watching North and South. Wink

cornishpasty · 01/11/2010 13:26

Between the sheets = no clothes at all!!!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 13:28

I know. I'm coming to realise that I have unusual tastes!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 13:47

Was it the uncut(!) version, cornish?
If so I have heard rumours of the presence of Peaches. But not on YT.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 13:48

tears, obviously, not Earl Grey

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 13:48

When, aeons ago, I was a little girl my mummy used to read me a story after lunch. I thought that this too was a custom worthy of revival, and although we have had this story quite recently it bears repetition, so are you sitting comfortably?

Now, in Mr. Thornton's face the straight brows fell low over the clear, deep-set earnest eyes, which, without being unpleasantly sharp, seemed intent enough to penetrate into the very heart and core of what he was looking at. The lines in the face were few but firm, as if they were carved in marble, and lay principally about the lips, which were slightly compressed over a set of teeth so faultless and beautiful as to give the effect of sudden sunlight when the rare bright smile, coming in an instant and shining out of the eyes, changed the whole look from the severe and resolved expression of a man ready to do and dare everything, to the keen honest enjoyment of the moment, which is seldom shown so fearlessly and instantaneously except by children. Margaret liked this smile; it was the first thing she had admired in this new friend of her father's; and the opposition of character, shown in all these details of appearance she had just been noticing, seemed to explain the attraction they evidently felt towards each other.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 14:13

I don't think you'd describe my way of sitting as comfortable right now Flowers

I have noticed that in his repertoire. Sigh.

Who did she model him on I wonder? And did the Reverend know?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 14:19

Perhaps he was modelled on the reverend? I hope for her sake that the reverend was not in the mould of Mr Hale or vice versa.

So, a productive morning at LeQueen Towers. But isnt Sparkhouse before the hair dye? I have to say that I think a large part of Mr Thornton's charms lies in his jet black and slightly tousled I could help with that hair.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 14:24

LeQueen - You are right, I think, in your surmise. Guy is probably the look to aim for in anyone who is broad of shoulder and, ahem, developed of chest. But how metrosexual is MrQ? Will he balk at the guyliner?

Plan B is that you introduce an austerity diet at LeQueen Towers so that MrQ is reduced to Lucaslike proportions.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 14:27

I suppose it might be too much to ask of Mr LeQueen to spend a few years in a Russian hell-hole, just to get the Lucas Look. Oh Lucas, you are seriously nice and Season 8 has just smouldered up to my door.

Hmm I wonder what brand of hair dye RA uses. L'Oreal, peut-etre? No shame in enlisting a bit of help to look HOT We ladies have been doing it for ages.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 14:33

I am sure he only dyes his hair because the role demands it. As with the frequent removal of his shirts.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 14:34

Because he's worth it, mwa ha ha

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 14:38

Oh yes Flowers. I am sure of it. And he only does it because the director tells him to, when he is far more keen on polishing his best Stanislavsky and being ugly and thought-provoking.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 14:47

"why does he keep on having sex with the cameras?"

Because he is communicating his inner turmoil and suppressed emotion. Obvious, innit? He went to LAMDA, you know. He is a Proper Actor.

And is polishing his Stanislavsky some sort of euphemism, by the way? Like buffing up his pecs?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 14:57

''He went to LAMDA, you know. He is a Proper Actor.''
If we asked him nicely, do you think he'd give us his Leer Lear
''And is polishing his Stanislavsky some sort of euphemism, by the way? Like buffing up his pecs?''
You might say that. I couldn't possibly comment.

cornishpasty · 01/11/2010 15:08

Theresahole I've not seen full uncut version but i have acquired some pornographic bedroom scene photos!
I would post links but are we allowed to link to such things on here??
LeQueen my dp has also benefited somewhat by my obsession Wink
He's of similar build and nose but sadly is lacking in the hair department & I don't think I'd ever persuade him to wear Guyliner!

Afternoon ladies!!

Pleased to hear all is well in our happy love shack this afternoon.

I don't think that we should feel guilty about our obsession, especially if our respective RA substitutes DH/DPs are gaining benefits too! I do have to wonder if I'd have become quite this obsessed to create a continuation thread if Mr Fettle had been home - methinks not, but as I'm enjoying my daily swoonfest - I ain't complaining!Grin

5 hours til Mr North arrives on our screens!!! I'm not even going to entertain the thought of kitchen table scenes after last week's trailer - I just hope he doesn't turn out to be too horrid and kill some fluffy kittens. However, I feel I may be too far gone to care about that, if only to see him!Grin

Incidentally I am hating my nickname more and more. Being humble and using something my DCs say to me was a big mistake.

Any suggestions for a namechange gratefully considered.

And please. No ribaldry.
