Ooh Lucas is far nicer than John - I think!!Hmm Do we know yet what it is he actually did yet? I realise I spend most weeks staring adoringly at the screen without realising what actually is going on!!!Grin

I don't think there will be any table top action - who heard it was going to happen? I think I read it on this thread - not that you are all a completely reliable source of information about the honarable Mr RA!

Thereashole - MrsThornton?

Off for some youtube action I think before I return back out into real life!

Me no know what you mean LeQ! Was Mr Thornton's name John? Oooh can you imagine that would be a crossover worthy of your series!!!Grin

Lucas in a floppy white shirt and open cravat and that smile....> Perfection!

Theresahole is not, repeat not, allowed to call herself MrsThornton. That is my honorific and title, in spirit if not (yet) in actuality. It is only matter of time before it comes to pass, the small matters of his being fictional and 190 years old notwithstanding.

LeQueen - You have confirmed my suspicions about MrQ's metrosexuality (or not). Could he somehow be persuaded to eyelash dye - the effect is not dissimilar?

MrsLucasNorth · 01/11/2010 16:58

I think we should go for the Thornton/Lucas crossover - given the timespan we could then work in the sexy vampire angle.

Apparently Lucas turns out to have been behind the bombing of a British Embassy somewhere 15 years ago.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 17:05

Well Twitter as usual is full of hints and innuendo. Some of it about Spooks. Arf.

MrsLucasNorth · 01/11/2010 17:11

Did you see the post from Lucas about eating a donut?

Imagine playing that game with RA where you have to eat a donut without licking your lips!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 17:17

I must have missed that one. I see we are promised (amongst other things) exposures and assassinations. But let us not forget that we were also (falsely) promised some table-top action (and I don't think they were talking about ping-pong).

Anyway, I doubt that I shall be able to see it from my position behind the sofa.

Fettle · 01/11/2010 17:18

Ooh I'm not on twitter. Is it worth joining to idolise a badly paid female runner Lucas further?!

Can't believe how bad my spelling is getting -honourable!! I is high edikated me promise rilleyGrin

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 17:23

Twitter is hilarious. The 'Lucas' tweets are clearly written by someone who knows the, ahem, demographic of Lucas's followers. But there's lots of other funny non-Spooks stuff there too. Dr Johnson ia a hoot!

Fettle · 01/11/2010 17:28

Hmm 15 years ago. Now he's been in 2 or is it 3 series of this? Say about 2 years worth of drama - can't believe each week is meant to be follow on from the previous day/episode?

So 8 years in a Russian prison must have been in mi5 for a while before then to be as well respected by Harry so he mist have blown up this embassy and immediately joined up!Hmm. I think I may think too deeply about these things!! Would of made a very anal and precise fabulous continuity script supervisor!! Maybe I could have that role in your series LeQ? I have experience of it before doing a film for a friend of mine!!!!

OP posts:
Fettle · 01/11/2010 17:36

would have. Not would of. Shock

I am deeply embarrassed about the state of my English! Mr Thornton would be so disdainful!!!
(can't blame all of it on fat thumbs small phone keypad syndrome!!)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 17:39

Clearly, what you need Fettle is to join my fictional future 190 year old husband Mr Thornton in a serious study of the Classics, as a thorough knowledge of Latin and Greek is a huge help in understanding English grammar and spelling. And deciphering Lucas' tattoos, for people who like that sort of thing. Ahem.

Worry not, Flowers. I would never aspire to appropraiting the name of your beloved.
How about MedievalRosePrincessBarbie nah, takes to long to type.

Re Lucas, I bet you will still love him whatever he has done. I will have to make do with DVDs myself, but no worries, I still have it all ahead of me He is certainly Top Totty in my book. Sorry Guy...

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 18:03

As I thought, LeQueen, as I thought.

Theresahole - I have been trying to think of something suitably medieval and pre-Raphaelite. I believe both La Belle Dame sans Merci and Lady of Shalott are both taken. Will keep thinking, but your medieval knowledge far exceeds mine.

Question of the day. Is Lucas more Top Totty than Guy? I, of course, am not shallow enough to be swayed by tottydom, but my alter ego learned friend thinks Guy out-totties Lucas.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 01/11/2010 18:04

are already taken.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/11/2010 18:11

Spoiled for choice in the totty stakes, Flowers.
To even up the score for Mr N after all the daft poems I ripped off for Guy, here is a little pome wot I wrote myself. Better put it out there before he blocks his copybook in a big way and you all hate him

Ahem.

Eek. MrsLN has stolen recycled my question about Dawn French kissing Messrs Armitage and Clooney. I've been trying to find the Clooney smooch on YT. It was on a chat show and I can find clips of DF and GC on Parkinson together, but not the actual kiss. Oooh er.
