You are not alone, Mrs LN. Last tnight I had serious compass-needle wavering with a vid of Guy stabbing people with his big sword. And I think that is worse.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 17:27

Listen to me MrsLN. That was not a seduction. It was a premeditated criminal offence.

MrsLucasNorth · 08/11/2010 17:27

I'm actually starting to wonder how I'd feel about Lucas if he knocked off a few puppies in the course of tonight's episode - obviously would put me off him as a 'person' but not sure it would put me off anything else Confused

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 17:50

I can't stand the suspense about Spooks. I need to watch , where only the passions are violent.

StripeyMoon · 08/11/2010 17:52

Mrs LN I fear even puppy culling would not put me off anymore Blush.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 17:57

Evening ladies. Only managed to catch up on today. But I'm here for some scientific debate and research. Keep it to biology and drugs though anything more physical unless it involves Lucas/mr Thornton directly is a little beyond me!!

And why pray tell leQ do you think I'd monopolise our lookiliky every weekend - I have some control . I'd share him a bit. Without serious staff discounting I couldn't afford it!!Grin

As to puppy slaying as someone said to me last week when I mentioned fluffy kittens - you can replace kittens but won't get another Lucas!!Grin

Still haven't got my head round twitter but what did he say to you BodenEnvy

It's worth a try though LeQueen, surely Wink

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 18:05

We did the Freudian stuff last night, LeQueen!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 18:05

Flowers, come and save us. We have all gone over to the Dark Side.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 18:10

I'm trying to get a moral compass biked over here pronto. What more can I do?

Hermya321 · 08/11/2010 18:18

How did I not know that there was a whole corner of MN dedicated to the great one??

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 18:19

The vid is lovely, Flowers. but I do worry a little about Margaret.
She has no mother any more to warn her of the Strange Fancies that Gentlemen are wont to have, when they should be getting a good night's sleep.
Not that her mum looked the type to be of much use in the wise advice department.
So I fear the poor girl is in for a traumatic expereince.
I mean, it is rather a bizarre sort of idea, isn't it. Not the first solution you'd think of if you were inventing the logistics.

MrsLucasNorth · 08/11/2010 18:19

Nooooo! Fingernails in shreds...need to get dd to bed so I can have a nice soothing bath and crack open the Polish cordial...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 18:27

Hello Hermya. so what's your particular fancy?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 18:35

Hi Hermya. You've picked a strange day to join us. The mood is somewhat, err, febrile.

Theresa - Eh? What are you trying to say about My Man Thornton? I am sure that Margaret's Good Works amongst the poor of Milton will have taught her a great deal about how life is lived and she has some idea where Mrs Boucher's six babies came from. Besides, nothing that involved being swept up in those manly arms and being held against that rugged chest could ever, ever be traumatic.

MrsLN - I could not open that link. Would I want to?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 18:42

Never, never, would I say anything bad about your Man, Flowers. I love him to bits myself. Margaret's usual facial expression led me to suspect a little naivete
Meanwhile Lucas is drowning in women over on Twitter. I wish I knew how to join the fray but that site is all Greek to me. Or even Sanskrit....

Bodenbabe · 08/11/2010 18:45

Hi Hermya! I hope you have come to raise the tone?

Fettle, probably outing myself here but I asked said that if he couldn't be good tonight could he please be very, very bad instead - and he replied saying something like "ah, but I'm even better when I'm bad" and smiled at me. I said "prove it" and he gave me a . I was off comms for at least an hour after that. Very tempting to continue but thought I owed to both my sanity and my also-on-Twitter DH to leave it there :o

Actually, on a serious note, would any of you feel guilty about flirting with Twitter Lucas? I mean it's not as if it's real... I think I could do with 'him' leaving after tomorrow actually! (though you just know it's a girl - a man wouldn't get how to write like that :)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 18:48

Ah yes, but you have to mention that Margaret threw caution an convention to the wind and not only kissed him before he had kissed her but did so publicly on a railway station platform (tv version) or willing paid for her flowers in a few minutes of, ahem, delicious silence. So not such a shrinking violet.

Where did it all go wrong for Lucas?

A la recherche du temps perdu

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 18:51

I did something far worse than flirt with Twitter Lucas, Boden. I registered on the DM website and left a comment on their MI5 article.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 18:52

Bodenbabe - You are a shameless strumpet! Many women would kill to receive a from the poor sap employed to impersonate Lucas. Wink

Did anyone see the article in Saturday's Guardian about the many fake/spoof Twitter personalities? Amazingly, they didn't mention Lucas and co.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 18:53

Oooh he just tweeted that he too has a liking for Polish Cordial
