Ladies, get over to the DM post haste and register your interest in joining MI5. I have already done so.

MrsLucasNorth · 08/11/2010 13:28

Theresa - I don't know if you intended "I'm getting off here too" to be a double entendre, but I have just well and truly lost my composure in the middle of the office and had to go off for a strong, sweet tea.

Thank you v. much!

StripeyMoon · 08/11/2010 13:47

Afternoon ladies, I am sure I must be wrong, but I am starting to believe Mr John Lucas Thornton is a bit of a slut gigilo Hmm any chance I can meet him at all in the future? At any point? At all? Grin

(brief description for future reference 5'10", blonde blue eyes bit chubby rounded figure, architect. Just in case)

Am getting very anxious about this evening..

Stripey I have often thought that an escort agency would clean up if they had a look-alike or two on their books

''Sorry dear, they're all out. And there's a six month waiting list''

Mrs LN, read into it what you like. It's your story.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 13:59

Hello LeQueen. I see one is on Facebook. Or is that some other royal lady? How is the writng coming on? We have been doing our best to fill in the gap but need your raunchy intellectual approach to plot and characterisation.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 14:02

Has someone been rating me? Grin At least 13 people agree with my recruitment ploy..

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 08/11/2010 14:04

Emily Dickinson pops in every so often, LeQueen. As do Tennyson and Byron. 'Tis because we are really the MN Society for Learned Discourse and Debate and not really sleb twaddle at all.

Boden - That photo is a masterpeice. It could almost have come from Magnum (the photographic agency, not the ice cream manufacturer).

Theresaholeinyourmind · 08/11/2010 14:07

No they dont :(

40deniertights · 08/11/2010 14:17

Sorry flowers, the "yet again" only referred to the angst ridden. Badly phrased on my part Blush.

I can't help feeling rather sorry for poor MrQ. Maybe he should don the spectacles and mud-coloured acrylic bobbly cardigan as protective colouring when he's out and about.
We need to find some others to spread the load

Bodenbabe · 08/11/2010 14:57

LeQ, the Twitter spooks really do make me giggle but agreed it certainly takes some getting used to. There was a hilarious fight between Lucas & Sir Harry - hubby showed me that you have to click on the 'invisible til you roll your mouse over them' arrows in the top left hand corner to see what someone is replying to.

Would there be a staff discount too, LeQueen?

Bodenbabe · 08/11/2010 16:12

I think we ought to personally 'interview' the candidates as well - speaking as repsonsible businesswomen, we wouldn't want to deliver anything less than a stellar service, would we?

I can just see the little company form with all the little boxes waitng to be ticked. Suggest a few, you know you want to Grin

That would be before we got to the practical exam...

Bodenbabe · 08/11/2010 17:10

I agree - we need to be meticulous in our research.

MrsLucasNorth · 08/11/2010 17:14

OMG! My moral compass must be completely buggered. Have just finished chapter 3 of Clarissa and instead of being horrified by Lovelace's antics am week at the knees and in danger of burning the dinner!

There goes decades of female emancipation straight down the drain!
