sorry, where were we? Ahem. MrsLN, you are surpassing yourself, that was fabulous!! Will never look at my kitchen table the same way again :) How dare you go away for the weekend though, leaving our collective bosoms heaving? I expect serious plot planning whilst you are away :)

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 21:38

I have about 7 hours of train journey so will have to take my notepad. Although am in the throes of transferring Venetia and Clarissa to my iPod so not sure how much 'work' will get done!

Anything you'd like me to feature in your chapter, Boden? I think Guy make have to make a weekend of it at this rate Grin!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 22:40

Seven hours in the company of Robert Lovelace? There is no hope for your virtue!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 22:43

Late again! I expect you've all gone by now.

First of all I wanted to thank Flowers for last night's story.I am not going to make any silly comments for once. it was just lovely I haven't been able to check out your vids yet, too much going on around me

Glad you all found the LOTR article interesting. The high spot for me was when he mentioned his interest in N&S because his ancestors were weavers and spinners. As were mine. Why am I all a-swoon at a thing like that?

Mrs LN another triumph. How delicious to see a kitchen table put to its proper use. I can't wait for the next episode.

Am a bit upset. I joined Twitter to find Lucas talking about wills Sad

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 22:47

He's talking about hot chocolate, whipped cream and golden syrup at the mo - I'd get your arse over there pronto if I were you!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 22:49

Sopunds like a plan, Mrs LN Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 22:53

Golly, ''he'' is more suggestive than us!

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 22:56

Must try harder then Wink!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 22:58

Do you thinbk he'd let us borrow his squirty cream?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 22:59

Look, I can't even type Grin

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 23:02

Yeah, Theresa, but he also talked for a long time about kitchen tables and, frankly, there's been more kitchen table action here.

I think we must hope for the best and plan for the worst - although it is now hard to discern what is good, bad or worst in Lucas' world.

I've just had another rummage in the YT basement and found more clips (rather than fan vids) from North and South, but not the one I really wnat to find, the scene where Higgins tells Mr Thornton about Fred being her brother and the scales fall from Mr Thornton's beautiful blue eyes. The search continues.

All the other links I've posted are, naturally, High Art.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 23:04

But cupcakes reported that 'Lucas' had ignored her tweet. I think he only replies to other employees of the production company people he knows.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 23:07

Hark! .

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 23:11

''But cupcakes reported that 'Lucas' had ignored her tweet''

If said tweet was anything like some of her posts on here, maybe ''he'' was too busy picking himself off the floor.

Looking forward to seeing some nice vids Sigh. A fraught day for me and I had run out of Polish Cordial. Wonder if Lucas took it to put in his hot chocolate?

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 23:12

Very nice Flowers!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 23:13
.

Guy's still on the cello, but this time he's conducted by Barenboim and is accompanied by a choir. The man can do anything.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 23:13

He might well get it out again Flowers, but I am still waiting to 'do for him' and it looks as if Boden is next in line.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 23:15

Hmm. You could be right. Perhaps cupcakes' tweet was censored. Or referred to the Obscene Publications Squad.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 23:23

Serves him right though, the saucy creature

Bodenbabe · 04/11/2010 23:26

MrsLN, as long as it includes a "close your eyes" bit, a la 2.19 from here: then I'm not fussy :) Btw, I think you deserve a knighthood for Services To Women (and probably to DHs, let's face it!) Let's start a petition, ladies! I can just imagine the Queen's speech at the medal ceremony: "One was floored by Mr Thornton-North's last installment - the palace's kitchen table saw more action tonight than the last 10 year's worth of banquets put together" :o

Re. 'him' on Twitter - 'he' has to be a girl, no? A guy (no pun intended) wouldn't get it.

FrozenChocolate · 04/11/2010 23:29

Just read on another thread that he is gay???
Is thay right?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 04/11/2010 23:32

I don't understand why it matters.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 23:44

Frozen - we have reliable info Grin from another mumsnetter who was at school and is still loosely in touch with the man himself that he is not gay.

He had a live-in girlfriend until about a year ago (I think) and has been quoted in several interviews recently saying he'd like to get married and have kids at some point.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 23:47

I'm not sure anyone on this thread would actually give a toss in any case!
