Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/11/2010 23:47

We do tend to concentrate our interest on the characters he portays

MrsLucasNorth · 04/11/2010 23:50

We are in fact a literary, musical and artistic haven for the culturally inclined dontcha know!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 00:07

Flowers, have you got lost down in the YT basement

I am finally getting round to watching your
clips/vids...

I am a real idiot, I find myself getting upset for the sadness of it all in the ''Kiss me'' one. It's a fictional character FGS

Someone come along and say some lady was really really nice to him, at some moment I haven't yet witnessed.

40deniertights · 05/11/2010 00:11

Glad to see you are all keeping up the good and important work. Do you think there are grants available, as 'tis academic research for the good of the country?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 00:14

I had thught we ought to found our own universtiy, 40denier. Grin
The University of Miltown-Morth perhaps?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 00:16

orr even North.
Sounds like Terry Pratchett, the other.

40deniertights · 05/11/2010 00:19

Cello playing was beautiful. Of course I only listened to the music, I wasn't at all interested in the clip itself

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 05/11/2010 00:24

No, I wasn't lost, Theresa. Prompted by a mention of polymorphous perversity on the radio earlier, I was just musing about gender politics and why in the early 2st century it still seems to be the case that our view of gender roles and identity is so simplistic and so stereotyped that any male who can play a musical instrument and does not look like a caveman is assumed to be gay. Are you a mother of sons? It almost makes me thankful I'm not.

I still haven't watched enough of RH to know whether any lady was ever nice to Guy, but surely Marian is, at least some of the time?

Funnily enough, 40deniertights, I was going to enrol us all for an MA in Victorian Literature (specialist topic the works of Mrs Gaskell) but the college where I was once planning to take this esteemed course of intellectual study no longer offers it. So the search continues.

And I have a fabulous vid for Guy fans tomorrow.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 00:24

And so to bed... to coin a phrase.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 05/11/2010 00:26

21st century, of course. 2nd century would have been genuine cavepeople.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 00:29

Oooh, there you are, Flowers. that last tear was for poor lost you. So glad you're safe.

Marion wasn't nice enough
And she was mostly pretending.
Why am I even bothered? But I am

Pass the Polish Cordial, I need knock out drops

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 05/11/2010 00:30

Night all.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 05/11/2010 00:35

Marian wasn't nice enough but maybe that was because Guy wasn't nice enough. Admittedly he looks very fine in leather trousers and has a very saucy way of biting into an apple but even for an innocent girl like Marian who's not well versed in the ways of the world, it's probably hard to commit with confidence to a man who goes around cutting out peasants' tongues.

Fettle · 05/11/2010 07:39

Fettle struggles in with bed table tousled hair! All i can say is WOW!Grin

Morning ladies. A very nice chapter there Mrs LN .

It's a bit a bit grey outside today so I thought I would try and bring us a touch of blue.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 10:25

How nice for you Fettle.

I am struggling in with bleary eyes. Contrary to what you might imagine, I had not over-indulged in Polish Cordial last night, or even

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 10:28

Thanks for that, Stripey, that sets me up nicely for the day Grin

Do you still do the 'penny for the Guy' thing over there?

StripeyMoon · 05/11/2010 10:35

Article today would inidctae that he is persuing another Shock here.

Don't do it anymore Theresa but we could certainly start again if the guy was right Grin.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 05/11/2010 10:41

Oooh, what a lovely find, Moon. Even if it is the dreaded DM.

Re the pursuit, I hope it happens for him. or something similar but equally nice. Bless. He deserves it.

40deniertights · 05/11/2010 11:15

This morning I unwittingly donned a slightly floppy white shirt and tight black jeans tucked in boots. Do you see what is happening? Blush

Bodenbabe · 05/11/2010 11:45

Right, Charlie & Lola is on, so I have 11 mins!

Stripey, I officially love you. That's the nicest pic I've ever seen. That blue with the black... def got to get that black shirt sorted for DH...

Re. the DM article, I got as far as "Sporting stubble and with his hair dishevelled" and then had to take a moment. Apparently "Six-footer Richard likes to be in control". Mmmmmm, does he now? :)

Bodenbabe · 05/11/2010 12:05

Anybody know what #FF means on Lucas's twitter feed?

MrsLucasNorth · 05/11/2010 12:33

Great article Stripey - slightly Envy on the Sophie Myles front, but liked her from the moment she started in this series of Spooks and is nice to think he's interested in more than skinny bimbos!

As for the liking to be in control & Theresas 'riding like a cowboy' analogies - am going quite wobbly at the though - pass the Polish cordial - there's a love! Grin

Bodenbabe · 05/11/2010 12:47

Jammy cow she is thoough - first David Tennant, now RA?!

Bodenbabe · 05/11/2010 13:02

Hooray! My DVD of Golden Hour (only £3.97, ladies!) has just plonked onto my doormat!
