as to the identity of Liz Jones mystery rock star lover? Apologies if I am repeating a thread but just read today's 'wingefest' and can't believe its anything other than a work of fiction.

Ok, I put myself through it!! now, 70's man is his friend I take it so we can guess this guy is in his 50's at least? Maybe Robert Plant, he would have the money.

I dont know that it was a proposal, she said they had only been on 4 dates unless I am reading it wrong. Oh, I have no clue!! Smile

It is Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin). He has a pad in Kidderminster (Hereford & Worcester) but was able to go over to LJ's at short notice because he was staying with 70's man who lives quite close to her.
