What does your husband do? I wouldn't say that's classed as rich nowadays.

He wasn't a millionaire when we met and I was still working. The usual things that attract people, shared values etc.

That could be said about half the threads on MN. To answer your question curiosity regarding the often negative opinions on women who don't work and wealth in general.

Where I live a 2 million mortgage free home is just a normal three bedroom house. It wouldn't make you seem especially rich.

To me rich is hundreds of millions. Not just a few. But that's just my opinion.

Why the IOW?! I’m not sure I’ve been anywhere so dull. If you had a bit more disposable income, would you have picked somewhere a bit nicer to have a holiday home?
