What is the point of your post?
Wbat are you expecting people to ask you?
I was once very wealthy. A £2million home. A villa in Tuscany. Numerous cars including Ferrari in the family.
We had no money worries but the usual problems with kids and families. I would never have exoected people to ask me questions.
PS.
We are nit rich now. Comfortable.
The business collapsed in last rcessiin. I was haply then and happy nos. So as long as you are not on the breadline ,being rich means you can be happy or miserable like anyone else.
I continued working part time as a teacher even when we were rich. I locmved my job.

It's quite uncanny that I happen to come across your post. I've literally just decided with my husband that I should hand in my notice as;
a) he earns enough to cover all our costs
b) I earn good money but my job causes me a lot of anxiety and I don't enjoy it, though I do feel good about the money I earn
c) our children are little and one has additional needs - they need me more than we need my salary

My question to you is do you ever feel less than women who earn their own money? Also, do you ever feel a power imbalance in your relationship?

I was enjoying this until you said you gave NOTHING to charity! It left me feeling shocked and a bit sick. 100k+ cars each and you don’t have compassion or kindness on the other people. We are probably worth 10% of you and give 10%+ of our income as we feel lucky and ‘rich’. It really does highlight greed, contentment and what the heart loves. Thanks for sharing anyway.

If you read up thread you will see that the OP subscribes to a ‘charity begins at home’ philosophy, looking after family and friends. But maybe that does not count in your book as charity. How egocentric @thecomedyofterrors

@Clarissaclaire I also practice charity begins at home and support family who are needing help before supporting wider causes. I don’t know why people find it so distasteful.

Fair play to you OP if you are rich ,and you are giving your kids the life most now us can only dream of. I grew up working class, as did some of my friends. A few of them are now absolutely minted / own businesses / holiday homes. I'm certainly not one of them- but we are still the best of friends!

K so you're not a "rich" housewife, your husband earns a lot making him well off. But you're JUST a housewife. Living off someone else's hard work.

Anyway gist of it was working hard for wealth is a flex. Living off someone else and proclaiming your rich is not. It's arrogant. And there are some people idolising it.. Some people are so so simple. What a world we live in.
