Happy to take the good and the bad.

Mmm… so you make a worthwhile contribution to society and yet you post this during a cost of living crisis when lots of people are on the bones of their arse.
You can keep your ‘contribution’ methinks!

ancientpants · 21/03/2024 20:26

What size house do you live in?
How many and what cars do you have?
Where do you do your food shopping?
Do you have high end white goods and if so what are they and why are they worth it?

My job would be very outing, I work in education.

My husband started out with no qualifications and in a trade.

I earn 60K a year

Edited

Well clearly you are not a state school teacher and a chippie, are you? Why don't you be a bit more forthcoming, otherwise what's the point of the AMA?

Do you run your own education consultancy and he runs a huge and successful building company, or what?

naturesform · 21/03/2024 20:26

Teenangels · 21/03/2024 20:25

I can not keep up, I earn 60K and I am a director on his company.

Well that's pretty meaningless then isn't it

Teenangels · 21/03/2024 20:26

pickytube · 21/03/2024 20:25

Do you have money left over each month?

Yes, but we do have some months that we spend every penny that was put into the account that month, but have a very big cushion, and lots of savings accounts.

Why do people want to know EXACTLY what the OP does for a living? Do you want her address aswell?

Teenangels · 21/03/2024 20:28

naturesform · 21/03/2024 20:26

Again you have no idea, what I do.

I call a women with 4 kids coming from not much earning 60K a year not meaningless.

You do the maths,

So you have 2 jobs?

Loopytiles · 21/03/2024 20:28

‘My job would be very outing, I work in education…..I earn £60k’

it’s like posts say their H’s hobby could be ‘outing’ and it’s probably golf or cycling!

GoodVibesHere · 21/03/2024 20:28

It's literally an AMA about what she earns 🤣

Really, again your judgement is telling.

I have said that I work in education and my partner is in the trades.

What are your jobs?

GetWhatYouWant · 21/03/2024 20:29

How old are you both?

How long have you been successful high earners as clearly you didn't start off wealthy?

What was the turning point in your lives that meant you became very high earners?

grumpypedestrian · 21/03/2024 20:30

Does your husbands company pay staff a living wage with fair working conditions and expectations?

Floopani · 21/03/2024 20:30

Are you happy OP? I mean compared to the times you have indicated you were on much lower income? Or about the same, just without worrying about money?

GoodVibesHere · 21/03/2024 20:30

naturesform · 21/03/2024 20:28

You do the maths,

Well if you won't actually tell us what you do then we have to read between the lines in your posts...60K a year for being a director in your husband's company is meaningless, he can pay you what he wants

Teenangels · 21/03/2024 20:30

1AngelicFruitCake · 21/03/2024 20:29

My partner started his own business working as a trade.

So it's your husband that is earning £720,000 annually, or at least his company is...

Teenangels · 21/03/2024 20:29

I have said that I work in education and my partner is in the trades.

You have quite literally invited judgement by opening up an AMA on your take home pay.

bakewellbride · 21/03/2024 20:32

On op's other thread it was £500k with the husband earning all of it. What a load of crap this all is! I wonder what the salary will be next week.

Lorelaigilmore88 · 21/03/2024 20:33

takemeawayagain · 21/03/2024 20:18

Why won't you say what your job is? This thread seems pointless if you won't answer what everyone wants to know.

Quite!
