I would want to know what you do to earn that, and if you enjoy the work. My only friend that earns anywhere near that is a company CEO.

Do you donate a lot to charity?

We donate to charity but people would not know, that we did.

It can do, and I know lots of women that have traded their husbands in.

As I said no one else would want him!

Why would no one want him though? Are you the one earning the cash and not him?

Whu · 21/03/2024 20:15

So you aren’t even going to say what your jobs are Grin!!

GoodVibesHere · 21/03/2024 20:15

Wow that's a huge amount! £££!

Do you have normal worries just like everyone else?

Are you generally content?

Also does having that much money make you feel isolated in any way, because others don't have your lifestyle? I mean do you have a network of wealthy friends, people who understand how you live, or have friendships drifted away due to the differences between you.

stayathomer · 21/03/2024 20:15

Have you always earned together or did one get big first and the other started helping out/being a partner. Did you invent something or (crosses fingers as am an author)-are you an author?

Do you both work FT? If so, for how much longer do you plan to do so before you retire? Are you accumulating assets, eg properties, equities etc etc & planning to live on the income they generate rather than working? If not, why not?

Also, how much money is enough? At what point do time & freedom become more important than another few million in the bank?

I can't believe with all that money you have nothing better to do than MN.

I know someone who literally has millions in the bank, they love nothing more than spending an evening with a cup of tea and a browse on their favourite forum.

Countrygirlxo · 21/03/2024 20:17

Do you feel superior to the rest of us who earn say less than £50k a year?

Oooorrr

They've employed someone to post on their behalf while they sip on the Bolly from their luxury yacht 😂

Suspect the OP is on well less than that themselves

OooohAhhhh · 21/03/2024 20:17

Well I'm not going to hate on you.
Sounds like you have both worked for it..hubby labour in woodwork and you a degree, I admire that, it's well earned, and I think people respect it more if you've made it happen yourselves, built up a business from scratch.
Gosh I have lots of q's!
Was part of it handed to you on a plate? ie family business or inheritance?
What is your house like?
What wine do you drink (price range too 😀)

MrsPerfect12 · 21/03/2024 20:17

Do either of you own a business? If not what are your actual jobs?

Do you have kids ?

Lovelydovey · 21/03/2024 20:18

How much tax do you pay a year?

takemeawayagain · 21/03/2024 20:18

Why won't you say what your job is? This thread seems pointless if you won't answer what everyone wants to know.

No need to tell OP to FO.

Some people earn very little and some people earn a lot. The thread might be interesting to some people!

A very good question, we both work full time.

Once the kids have left uni, we will retire.

We have lots if investments and properties.

Enough money in the bank is too know that we can lead a good life, and not have to worry and be able to help out the kids if they need it, but not allowing them to think they do not have to work hard.
